well the first 10 seconds of Alternate Existence Season 2 ruined 2 characters I liked. While yeah I don't mind incest games from time to time those were 2 characters I liked knowing they weren't related the reveal feels really unnecessary to me. im still gonna play this game cause I played this much of it already but man that is such a disappointment for me. I probably don't like it cause I find the incest the weakest part of the game / story telling in this game , especially since it wasn't something you knew about for the entire of Season 1.

Is someone forcing you to use the incest patch, pretty sure there's no incest without it? Because if so I have questions. Mainly are they getting paid, if so by who, and is that person hiring?

I just assumed it's the way the game is meant to played. I don't hate incest or anything just didn't like the way it was handled but that is just me. Which really is 1 of my 2 major things I disliked about the game otherwise it's an okay game for what it is.

Des, I think you might be over thinking it a bit... I mean, the handwriting was on the wall. He's been having relations with his aunt and cousin who aren't really his aunt or cousin since the beginning. His real mother and his real half sisters are from a planet where incest isn't a thing, at least in part because everybody is essentially a test tube baby... For me it was kinda foreshadowed all along. *shrug* It's still a pretty good story, though, yeah?
I mean, who wouldn't want to be the super-stud alien baby maker responsible for re-populating the planet?

Yeah I like the story more than the characters in this one expect the 2 which turned out to be his alien half sisters , those are my favorites. tho I didn't see the foreshadowed I knew he wasn't 100% related to his Cousin and Aunt but just 1/2 related to them , unless there is another reveal later to show they aren't related at all I just started S2. But the reveals did surprise me. I guessed who his mother was sorta of well one of the different alias's she uses, I actually thought the Doctor was gonna be a Villain or helping out the bad guys.

Hehe, yeah, it's not perfect by any means. Any story like this one is gonna be a bit contrived in spots. My biggest dilemma was in season 1 and being forced to choose between the next door neighbors. At first, I thought,"Oh yeah, gonna get me some chocolate mamma and some chocolate baby girl from right next door!" I was soooooo disappointed when hookin' up with one excluded the other. Sometimes life just isn't fair!
I see it as choices. I mean we all like them in VN's not so? I know some want story changing one's but as the dev has said before, it's a linear story with some choices. I just decided to play it for the story and if i cant get my chocolate latte or vanilla cream here and there, it's all good you know.

Hmm... There is only one scenario that anyone can biologically be someone's aunt or uncle: their sibling has an offspring. Not sure what you meant with "1/2 related". Although, "cousin" can be a quite broad definition like a kins(wo)man or sharing a common ancestor like a (great)grandparent, but aunts and uncles need to be sister/brother(-in-law)s to each others.
Maybe you wanted Anne to be MC's mother but then she wouldn't be an aunt nor Summer wouldn't be a cousin.

only 100% way is that anne's brother (or whatever he was) would have made with babies his sister.

So some thoughts by a person who enjoys this VN but not necessarily the whole game because of some small things that could have been avoided but haven't.
1. The entire first episode of season 1 is basically the MC watching
2. Including Tania who was a LI of the previous games MC and banged but tossed aside, as a main LI in this game for the current MC.
3. Why include a beautiful NPC like Francine and then randomly include this big ass alpha Chad looking mofo called rob to be the MC's saviour and take the possible LI from the MC.(Also at one point the MC says he is 6'6 but in the character sheet he is 6'2.)
4. The "mom" Maggie is a real estate agent in this game and also in the game Bad Memories where she is sleeping with the MC of Bad Memories and the step mom of the MC in Bad Memories.

1. Well I know a lot of people probably wont enjoy that myself included.
2. Again people may not enjoy a LI who was a LI in another game for various reasons that's why it isn't common.
3. True in that regard but its still wasted potential and players might have hoped she was a LI only to find out a completely random friend of the MC comes out from nowhere to make idiotic comments and lock her out as a LI.
4. Sure her being the MC's mom was a dead giveaway she wasn't a virgin ffs. That's not what I was bringing up, I was merely stating that the MC's mom was in another game and fucking another MC and wondering was that completely necessary or just for the "plot".
