Dragon form katori indeed broken with how she didnt have any weakness and large move tile, that way in next game they remove her ability to transform lol

Does anyone know how to get the magic ore out of the Excavation Site in chapter 1? I looked on the wiki for the mining spots and I built the watchtower to get an additional mining level, but the only harvest spots are for green grass and wood, and there aren't any other options. I feel like im losing my freaking mind lol
I agree, it's lame she couldnt transform being head of a dragon clan and all.But yeah, she kinda falls off hard later playthroughs tho. Having very high cost, Ethereal + Flight are accessible as well, she also lacks range attack. Kinda first playthrough or not at all. If you're into the no weakness thing, there are better options

You need to use a character with the Miner skill (Avaro's Technomancer skill has this built in) to find and gather from the spots. Using Fia won't work.

well comparing her to DLC and second playthrough chara kinda unfair, i mean in my second play i almost didnt use majority original unit since their better except in level, i think this also why second game hardy put any OP dlc unit since original unit in this game totally overshadowed, i mean Valefor and Eu indeed broken, but Lily and that swordswoman from alchemy meister also too strong lol
True enough, first playthrough characters hardly get deployed on subsequent playthroughs. Speaking of Kamidori, I still remember abusing the Railgun skill with first playthrough characters. Good days

When I run the AGE file I get a pop up that is in alt codes. All jibrish. I joined the forum to play this gamee <3. I have my Locale set to Japanese and I have the Japanese language pack and swapped to that. I've tried using each alone, restarting pc between them. I have Windows 10 and DirectX12. please help

You're extracting it wrong. Set the encoding to Japanese instead of Unicode or whatever. If you don't know how, try Youtube. Playing this for the first time after playing a lot of Kamidori in the past, they really inflated the HP/toughness of normal mobs by the end lol. And I'm not even doing NG+ stuff yet. I'm talking hundreds of hp+high overall resists+Prevail on each one. Makes me glad I spent so many hours grinding my summons, cuz my regular characters don't do shit. Maybe I'll try the sequel after I'm done, but Kamidori felt like it had a much better balance and regular battles weren't a slog of attrition.
Yea, I remember the final map took me 4 hours because they nearly infinitely spawning like 400-500 hp golems with skills and resistances
Look at this generic grunt with 441 hp on normal mode and resists more than half the elements.
After finishing the B route, maybe that one is more optimal to finish first, because enemies there are much easier to beat, not even the bosses surpass 400 HP, they barely even have 200-300 hp.
Like this is one of the mini bosses on the B route final map who has the highest hp among the 4, doesn't even reach 300 hp and only 2 resistances.

I updated my windows and the text became squished, the [...] of dialogues change to u...v , the summon skill list roman numeral became T, V, U, etc and and the captured monster stars became small S with a v on top symbol... I'm guessing a font or text formatting issue, but could not find a source or fix... anybody can help?

help my game keep crashing when i click start, option etc. i have installed japanese supplemental fonts, japanese locale. im using windows 11
