I finished in the mall but when I click go home, it shows work in progress. Do i need the restart the game?yes

Need to talk to Kate while watching TV,
But I do not think it is possible to see it until the next update.
The reason being is that when you unlock it , late in the game, there are no more "Free Roams"
And you are taken straight to the "Main Menu" when you complete the update.
UPDATE:-
Strange bug/quirk
Kate's collar was set as needing "Secret", (Carried on playing from a end of 0.4 save)
But in another post someone said to unlock it you need to get Kate's pants which I already had !
So I started a new game and played until I got the phone.
I checked the Achievements, and I found that I had unlocked Kate's collar !
I reloaded a save from a later stage of the game and Kate's collar was now unlocked (Requirement:- Get Kate's Panty).
So if you already have Kate's Pants and her collar is NOT unlocked.
Start a new game and play until you get her pants.
Then reload a save and check if Kate's collar is now unlocked.

Please ensure that your "shortcut" leads to the 0.5 not the 0.4 update.

Had the same Problem. Had the Mods installed for version 0.4a - after deleting folder, unpack again and loading save from that point i could leave the Mall.I'm stuck mall too

yes.But I have startet to create the mod with a different methode i think it was last month but i have then give up because my time and it is to much work for me alone ( i have to look into 8 scripts files before i´m done with acts folder)

This game could become a Taboo Game Classic. The renders are spectacular.
