The developer explained that first of all he makes complex scenes with a lot of images and animations. After the complex scenes are done, small scenes of 10 images can be done at 10-20 per week at this rate.
That is very much true, i know i would wait for an update of some games who have unique characters, or just superbly detailed characters, as long as needed, especially if the renders are on a really high quality, like they are in the games you showed us in these pictures.This is because of the female character models. They are UNIQUE.
Most of the SFM/BLender porn out there is with Overwatch characters, Final Fantasy characters, or other games characters. So people want something fresh and new.
And when a dev makes some insanly good looking female characters :
MIlfy City
Amnesia
Midnight Paradise
Apocalust
People will go and have hope for A LOT of content. The devs see this and capitalize on it.
Then go into "Lets seen how much you are willing to pay and wait for" mode.
(Granted some of the devs have IRL reasons for delays and such... but still)

The last update was released 3 months ago. In my opinion, this is less than 100 years.

I'm not arguing about that. But the conversation was about the fact that the developer had forgotten about the game at all and is not updating it. It sounds strange. Moreover, he writes reports every week and shows fresh images.

If a developer creates 150 images per week at this pace, then by the beginning of 2023 their number will be 10,000. I'm not sure that Super Alex conceived an update equal to 3 chapters of "Being a DIK".
