I know but the person talked about the updated current version which came out some days ago and this one offered nothing new compared to the latest patreon update except for the language support. That's what I was referring to.

yeah there is no new content in the version i shared . which is why i asked it to not be promoted in Latest Updates .

If you get stuck, try advancing the story of another character.
I don't think it was possible to advance the story of just one specific character.

So, I put my money where my mouth is and made an ipatch that does more than just fill in the default relationships for the ladies. The stepcest content has been fixed back to them actually being biologically related. I didn't change the story too much, though I did have to make a slight adjustment. The MC is now the youngest sibling. Personally I think this works better. Kate and the MCs relationship works better where the oldest sister took care of her baby brother which led to them being super close and the "forgotten" middle child (Elena) feels resentful and acts out to get attention.

This mod should be future proof unless the dev adds in a new family member. You might want to go to "Change Relationships" on the settings menu and hit "Default" to get it to work. Download here and extract to your game folder.

IMPORTANT: Do not change the default settings or you will get the original story.

I know it's gotta be something I'm doing but when I try to extract the game folder from the mod into the Amnesia folder, it gives me the grey error screen. Would someone be able to assist?

We’re already on the final stretch. All planned scenes are done and implemented in the code. We're currently working on final polishing, voiceovers, and text editing. Everything will be ready soon. I can’t give an exact date, but it’s coming very soon. For the scene with Alexandra, I managed to create 50 new animations.

The number sounds impressive and gives me ideas yet I'm still looking from a distance cause the game has yet to deliver. The original version that went on for about 5 years never has been able to really utilize those beautiful girls. Let's see if this particular scene will finally move into a direction where this game should've headed years ago. I'm really hoping so...

Be aware this is probably a lot of AI animations, just set expectations for it is all I'm saying. Requires a lot less effort (not necessarily a bad thing ), and the quality can be questionable when it comes to faces and consistency in the animation if not kept short.

He’s already working on scenes 11 and 12 for Alex, yet scenes 6 and 8 are still missing. It’s frustrating that he keeps postponing the older ones -the deeper you get into the game, the less those unfinished scenes make any narrative sense.

Same, for me it make more sense to work on new scenes that fit the new narrative of the game then to bring back old scenes that may not fit that well into the new story just for the sake of bringing them back.

Maybe add them into an extras section in the main menu for old scenes not remastered and not returning for people who miss them. Or hold them in reserve and repurpose them into new story sections later on when it makes sense.

I'd just like to also clarify I don't see it as a bad thing per say. (As an animator it still makes me a tiny bit uneasy,And can't hold back my snarky comments sometimes. but probably the same way photographers felt when Photoshop came into the scene way back ). The developer has I believed talked about how hard they found making animations for the game, or at least just the amount of time it takes to be a bit much. I feel new tools that help game developers create games they otherwise would not be able to do is a good thing. To me this is a good use of Generative AI, taking something you created and improving it.

I just hope Steam doesn't have to wait too long for the next update. Thankfully a lot of the conversation on steam has turned more positive for now.
