im sure you are generous supporter of many games, this one in particular, and perhaps even admin on some popular discord channel, yup, swimming in money, for sure.
yet all that has nothing to do with a fact that this, and many other devs, are simply became milkers, getting paid for minimal or no work....it is concerning trend, and you, and few other bots can try and defend it all you wanna.

I don't usually waste my time participating in idle discussions, but I wanted to say that (generally) you are both right and you should refrain from going ad personam.
People are lazy/convenient by nature which makes it one of the factors that lead people to invent new things (i.e. people just want to make their lives easier). People who find an "easy" way to make money, want to make it even easier over time (people forget that the "the better is the enemy of the good").
If there are game devs who make a living off receiving some kind of donations, essentially making them dependent on an uncertain source of income, it's their and only their decision. If they want to provide less content, they have to keep in mind that people might stop donating.
It's not for you to decide what other people should do with their money.
