What happened to the Flashback/Memory videos? None are shown but MC reacts to them? Makes for a confusing gameplay as you don't know what he is reacting to?

My game seems to have a bug or something, having a hard time advancing at certain point. I have to pick up the deodorant in Elana's room at least 5 times before the story advanced, i had to click on Kate's diary more than 20 times, and now I'm on the first scene with Kate and MC in his bed and it is stuck. The options are there and they work, but the story won't advance. I installed the MOD to show which choices to make and i have gone through the progression several times(these problems started before the MOD installation).

Am i missing something?
