one complaint i have is that it can can be hard to see certain sex scenes due to the poor lighting

I'm gonna to answer using an ancient mystical art long forgotten about in this "new era" ...... common sense.
MC's parents are dead and other characters exist in the game with some being added at a later date. It is noted in a comment you quoted that mother/son and/or father/daughter relations may happen.
So using this mystical "common sense" tells me it will either be other people involved in such relations or, depending on devs plans, maybe even the MC being the parent.

i like games, especially the one in past times like middle ages or like this one roman times.
But for me as a not native english speaker/reader it s hard to understand the old english style
with all the thees thy s etc, so that is a big minus.(and not nessecary because if you want to have
an authentic style make the game in italian)
second remark is all the dark images , hard to see something , not fun to play
third remark is that even at the beginning of the game by the very first choise , the land option
gives a critical error , i am aware that this can happen but not so early in a game
i am not sure but i cant imagine i am the only one with these issues
dev good luck with your game , but i dont think i want to play it because off all above written

As others have said, the lighting needs some serious work. As to the animations, if they can't be done well static images would be better. Mediocre or bad animations break the immersion and degrade the VN.

I had to start over because none of the saves worked, couldn't remember if I changed my name previously, didn't feel like doing it here, so I cheated a little bit.
Yeah, the middle quote in my post is the source of my confusion. I don't know if I stated I had a story planned out that secondary characters would be left out of that plan by default. It seemed misleading to me. I wasn't upset or anything, but I was confused.The plot is laid out correctly, and everything aligns. The protagonist's parents are indeed deceased, or more accurately, the parents of the person whose body the protagonist's soul has inhabited are dead.
Regarding the M/S and F/D relationships: why are you so sure that such relationships or scenes should always focus on the protagonist? I was referring to the secondary characters. That's why I mentioned that I'm not sure if I would introduce it into the story.
I also noticed a strong reaction to my message about adding new characters in future updates. Perhaps I didn't express my thoughts clearly, leading to a misunderstanding, or perhaps you genuinely didn't like the news about the updates. However, let me clarify once more. In every new update, new characters will be introduced. That's correct, but that doesn't mean they will be main characters. These are secondary characters, like Eros, Melissa, and Miriel. You won't be playing as them; they will simply drive the plot forward. Most of them will be real historical figures responsible for the events I will narrate through the game. You will decide whether to follow the historical events or alter them. Yes, magic and gods will be involved. It's a different world, and the historical details will be different. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide if you like this approach or not.

I am having a hard time getting into this VN because of the dialog. Trying to make it sound like older version of a language just isn't pleasing to me.
