That's weird, I looked into that problem and didn't found any solutions. I never came across a problem like that, and it's strange that there are errors like that since I didn't touch anything in Renpy's core code, let alone the save system.
Does it happen in several points of the game? Does the error appear when you touch the save slot?
I'm sorry I can't help you, tomorrow I'll see to ask other devs if they ever encountered a similar problem.

Ok I'll be on standby, here are a few answers to your questions and extra explanations to help :
- I didn't touch anything in the code first of all, I started a new game.
- I played your last release before this one and had no problems with the saving, I didn't convert that save to the new version.
- I tried saving on different occasions in the game, didn't work. It happens when I click/touch the save slot, I've tried clicking the other save slots and on different pages, didn't work.
I did not find a suitable solution unfortunately, it seems to be a very rare problem, it's as if the game cannot reach the save directory. The only thing I can think of is to delete the save folder from "user/appdata/Renpy/android_life" and then run the game as an administrator, but I'm not sure if that's the solution.
