You copy and paste each new script (rpy) file into the designated folder. When asked to "replace or overwrite" say "yes".

Part 7 has been completed. This part focuses on the aftermath of Claire's date. Claire and Miles talk about what happened and chart a renewed course in their relationship.

This part is slightly shorter - 51 unique renders and about 200 new lines of dialogue. There is some branching that stems from your decisions in parts 6 & 7.

The 51 renders also include 10 animations - the highest in any part so far.

Also, this part includes some maintenance updates.

The VN's size was getting ridiculously huge. At this rate, I'd soon hit the Patreon limit on attachment sizes. So I had to spend some time compressing all existing assets. At this time, I didn't want to use lossy compression. Because the renders are in 1080p and these are essentially 3D model renders, even low level compressions really take a hit on sharpness and quality when viewing on larger resolution monitors which many of you would have. So for now, I've settled on using lossless webp instead. This brings the total size of the VN down by ~40%. Good enough for now. If and when the size rises above 2 GBs, I might have to inevitably use lossy compression. We'll figure it out when we get there.

There were also some minor bug fixes in this patch.

This is a big one! There are many branches to explore and the choices you made in part 5 make quite a bit of a difference in what you see and how Claire's date with Sam turns out. Contains close to 200 new renders and around 500 lines of dialogue.

I promise the next part will include some 'action', including animations. That was planned for this part itself, but part 6 ended up way larger than expected and I didn't want to bloat it any more than it already had been.

I was just curious about future events with other guys. As I mentioned earlier, I am not a fan of sending my wife out on 'dates' with other men. I'm just curious if this a 'one and done' or will there be more like this.

By the logic of the story they will have at least one more date. But if the MC keeps stalkering them then the other guy will start suspecting so I don't think there will be many more dates. And it is cruel to that other guy to play with his feelings like that, so I think they will tell him the truth on the second date.

That was the bit I commented to the dev on and he said he'd fix, but I might have missed some (I told him about using the wrong speaker when meeting Sam in the restaurant, and calling Sam the MMC's name when leaving).

Dev responded (within half an hour). I didn't mention the feelings of the other guy, but dev addressed that a bit in his response too. I'll put it in a spoiler because he does talk about some of the things that will happen in upcoming releases, but I believe the response should be fine for you, Crow:

I really appreciate the kind words, thank you! Yes, our protagonists in this VN will continue to have a loving relationship and everything that they do, they will do together. I plan to keep it this way for the entirety of this VN. And yes, I try to spend quite some time crafting dialogues. I try to make them feel realistic while at the same time trying to ensure that the reader doesn't get dragged along a very slow moving story. There's gonna be some emotional turbulence, some indecision among them ofc, but neither of them will break the rules that they set together. You bring up a really solid point about the title, I hadn't thought about it this way - that the title alone might be putting off some people from trying out this VN. Your comment had me thinking deeper on this point. Angst is indeed a very strong term and I can imagine how someone might have a completely different idea of what this VN is about from the title alone. When I picked Angst as the title, my idea was to mainly find a short title that wasn't used in an NTS/NTR VN before and still was relevant to the story of the VN.
