I also used the compressed download from the op page ... what is funny is now my old saves are working .... but they are not in the game/save file ???

The saves are kept in a RenPy file that stays on your HD even when you delete the game.
In therory you could delete all your played games and still have saves when a update comes along.
But, do that at your own risk because not all RenPy games are made the same.
It's one way to free up HD space.

There are 2 saves located in the download, with both paths and everything from previous version unlocked. Check in the download.

True, though for the Bar storyline both of these saves lock you in with Patrick being apparently dead.

Yes i got the same problem... downloaded the VN version but its with a sandbox map and point and click scenes. The last version had a VN in the data name and this version says the queen...

The OP has been fixed it looks like and put this in the Sandbox part. There is a VN part, I guess the person who posted it just posted the Sandbox part. If they said which version, would have saved a lot of folks confusion.

That's just what the dev said, so might ask them. I have no idea if that was intentional or not by the dev.

They are there somewhere, I don't have it as I'd rather play the "VN version".

Old save files WILL NOT WORK but we have included a save file that starts at the beginning of the update and you will have to access to all scenes.

In this update, Anna will try out something harsher in her filming path. There will be two different scenes on the plane. One with Jeremy and one with Madison. She also closes the deal with Eastern Conglomerate, Sergey will go underground and leave Anna in charge. Anna will deal with Patrick's son Luca, to get the password for the bar's computer and start running the business. Anna will also meet Alfred and finally visit Andrew at the hospital.

so first of all a big thank you for the guys who shared the new update. you are truely cool ppl.

• yes old files won't work as, i think, nearly always. there are in fact as mentioned to latest save files for the new update
• personally i played it from the beginning and it took me with skipping the text i already knew around 35 min + the new update made it about 50 min (for me at least)

After so long, it feels like at this stage there isn't much more this can give. Overall this sequel is not as good actually, simply because there isn't the same sense of progression anymore. It's just another day in the office.
Anna is still gorgeous, the renders are still very good, there just isn't anything new or interesting.
I think I'll leave it here and keep the good memories of the previous game as being one of the best (once ported to Ren'py).

i think the new main routes deepsleep planned are so big you can't see a big progression is just a few updates (also look at other games who have an update a year with 3 scenes and also just little progression i don't think AEA is bad in that regard compared to quite a lot of other games and if there is more progression the actual scale of the game is way smaller with way less options, less kinks to choose from and sometimes also less sex scenes and i personally am here for the sex and options but maybe you not).

the main routes are now (i think):

1. how to handle Andrew beeing awake again (future choices like cheating/ntr, break up or maybe even cuck? and if break up who will be her new "boyfriend"? Alfred, John, Benjamin, Timothy?)
2. model route (pornstar? and/or lingerie topmodel for Alfred?)
3. Earl or Sergey path similar to Jeremey alive or dead but i think even more drastic

the big side routes which are important but way less story/character development are (i think):

1. bar route (patrick dead or alive - and hopefully his son dead soon... )
2. escort route (new clients different kinks)
3. nurse route (new clients different kinks)
4. business woman (making new contracts for sex or no sex with new locations and clients)

• i personally would like to see some more character envolvement of characters like Earl similar to Alfred, Benjamin and Timothy since i think he still lacks depth/is a bit too onedimensional.
• i also personally hope we reach a point were she really has to choose first to either stay or break up with Andrew and after that choose who she will get a new relationship with like e.g.: choose Alfred as her new boyfriend (breaks up with John, Timothy, Benjamin), choose John as her new boyfriend (breaks up with Alfred, Timothy etc) or two decide if she wants to get Alfred as her new boyfriend and then cheat with John or Timothy or Benjamin etc. - this could make this a bit more drastic and exciting.
• I also still would like to see her mother, father (which i think are divorced and her father an alcoholic), and maybe even her grandfather visiting her. seeing a bit more background and maybe get a bit confronted with her past in the main game to make certain things more cannon. could be interesting too in my opinion.
• some dreamsequences were you could explore fantasy/cyberpunk etc would be hot and refreshing but could make things maybe too big and complicated

As I understand CH1 was made in RPGM, whereas CH2 is being made using Ren'py, so even if you had a save from CH1 you wouldn't be able to use it in CH2. There is also a RenPy remake of CH1 however I really doubt the save you make in it would be compatible with CH2, so it looks like CH 1 and 2 can only be played as two separate games at this point.

The person who shared it, didn't share the "VN version" and only shared the Sandbox version. It's just not here yet.

I agree. This is a big story. Going to the VN/Sandbox choice causes a lot of confusion and save issues.
It would have been better to leave it one or the other or even make it two completely separate games.

I'll always play this game because Anna is a sweet innocent baby doll with a body for sin.
