Weekly update

Hello, dear Patrons!

Just a quick progress update of the next release and an outfit spoiler.

As we talked before already, there will finally be a scene with signing an important contract for the company. One path is with Jeremy and you know what king of signing it will lead to, but another is without him so it opens an interesting possibility for Anna to show her talents in achieving things. After all, we know that she's good at a lot of things Here you can see an outfit we chose for the scene and I think that it's going to be hot. There was another option and you will see that soon at the company's corporate party

We are still on track progress-wise. Renders are coming in at a good pace and Awake is adding them as soon as they are ready so there will be no delays on that side.
It looks like the next update will be interesting with loads of content with your favorite characters who didn't get action for some time.

Hmm, personally not sure on that. For me it was better when it was the chapter 1 remake in Renpy, it was just simpler to navigate. This game is a straightforward VN with choices so didn't need to be in RPGM and doesn't need some of the bloat gameplay elements that have been included in chapter 2.

I love this game, I think I should put an option where you choose which outfit you want to wear, and with the NPCs' reactions to that outfit, it would be even better to have a bikini brand (tan) on Anna (put it on and off when you want) are details that make all the difference .. in my opinion.

Hmm, personally not sure on that. For me it was better when it was the chapter 1 remake in Renpy, it was just simpler to navigate. This game is a straightforward VN with choices so didn't need to be in RPGM and doesn't need some of the bloat gameplay elements that have been included in chapter 2.

Honestly, there were both good and not so good elements in each version. The older versions were easier to navigate. The new state it's in just makes things more difficult to figure out. But, Ren'Py is usually better for these types of games. I just personally don't care for the "click a button to go to a location, then point and click to guess what to do next" layout/gameplay style. I spent tons of time roaming around, making random guesses, before I finally figure certain things out and found new scenes. It was really frustrating and only takes away from the story...at least for me.

Game had no reason to be in RPGM, all you did was walk from point A to B. Making you actually walk just felt like a waste of time. Then there's the other problems. Like having to refer to a jpeg map to figure out where things were. The stark contrast between the pixelated map and realistic renders. And the random placeholder anime face that showed up in the menu when Anna had a companion.

But there should always be a choice

In general, I really hope for the route of a porn star. And that doesn't mean you can be a complete whore. You can be a porn star with principles and your own views. And in general, these are quite ordinary people, with a slightly biased sense of virtue.

My Anya tries not to fall to the very bottom. It just does what it needs to survive. Depraved unwillingly, but rather as an inevitable consequence of forced actions.
In this regard, I like the 2nd part so far more. There is a choice.

Most of us agree on that point, but that isn't even what bothers people with the newer version. Being able to go straight to the location is good. I guess the main issue I have with it is the actual point and click method...having to move the mouse around the screen to see what gets highlighted, then clicking on it to get a little message that says something like "I don't need to do that at this time." I guess maybe a decent walkthrough would fix that problem. And, a walkthrough doesn't even have to give spoilers. It can simply tell a location, time of day, and person to talk to or door to click on.

Multiple saves are a great thing. I took both paths. lol
I DO wonder when the bar scenes will return, though. That was my favorite part. Used in a bar, used in the office job, corrupted in the studio...there were many avenues of interest.

I think the tone of this VN needs to change a little bit I feel there's a recurring theme of naiveness in anna's character even though with or without Jeremy path she acts like she is under incredible pressure without any association with Sergey, Fritzgerald, Ashley, or any other character that was forcing her to do stuff in this chapter but still after the fiasco in the first chapter she is still kinda same with a better look which bothers me. I think the second chapter is a great opportunity to show the progression of character like anna starts the corruption instead of participates in other characters events and leaves the character hanging rather than full-on corruption from the other characters. I would have loved to see Anna becoming the manipulator for a change and holding all the cards and chooses to indulge with characters based on trust points or Anna is not easy to approach as she was in the first chapter would be great or she is learning some kind self-defense after what some characters did to her in the first chapter. I think DeepSleep can pull this idea off with the storyline of the detective and I hopefully think this chapter can separately itself exploring different stuff than the first one.

Mostly because Chapter 1 was written and planned by DeepSleep alone now he teamed up with "Awake", who is the new writer of Anna in Chapter 2.
