actually it seems that the next updates will be as incomplete as the last one to encourage people to finance episode 2 for who knows how much longer. from 0.993 I expected that the next update would be 1.0 given the wait instead of a 0.994.
It's a very linear game. You just need to follow the quest log and you won't have any problems

On the 'bad' paths I reckon this is what the Devs intend for the character. Certainly on the Dom 'bad' path, she'll use her body to manipulate weaker characters and build alliances with the stronger ones like Taxman and Sergey. Whereas, on the sub 'bad' path she'll become increasingly depraved and under the complete thrall of her 'condition'
The problem with the sandbox is the phone function. That's what is preventing old saves from working, and is presently stopping some people myself included, from progressing any further with that version. At some point during Chapter 2, the Devs made a bit of a mess of that function, and all the problems with the sandbox version stem from that. The VN version doesn't have the phone function, so it's not affected.

Yeah, I understand it's not for everyone. And that's why the Devs created the VN version, for those people who prefer to just concentrate on the storyline. I don't mind clicking around the map and I feel it and the phone ( when it works) enhances my experience. And I'm not alone, because the majority of patrons prefer the sandbox version. But it's not for everyone, and I think it's good that there's another version. It's certainly allowed me to carry on playing the content, until the Devs find a solution for the issues with the phone function.
