Hello, dear Patrons!

A quick weekly progress update about the next release!

I planned on releasing the next Episode in February, but in the end, some scenes came out a lot longer than anticipated, so it will take more time to finish everything. For example, Bar's scene is almost 400 renders, both paths included. I also decided to include one more H scene than I planned before, but I promised that it's worth it :)

Ashley will be making his return with a bang. I don't want to tell you too much, but Anna will finally meet her biggest fans and Andrew will be there too :)

I was hoping for a scene with Anna and Ashley only and not with the "fans" of the camshows.
That being said so does it sound interesting about the scene (long time no see), especially since Andrew will be there :devilish:

So that means it's not even going to release next week!

We don't want more scenes since it already has been more than 3 months!

This is what happens when u get the habit of delaying things everytime

Another reason is the fact that Chapter 1 was originally written in RPGM format and Chapter 2 in Ren'Py. Since both are not compatible in terms of saves, there are a total of 12 questions in Chapter 2 about how you would like to set up Anna. There are other settings in Chapter 2, but they have nothing to do with Chapter 1. Since my Anna only develops in Chapter 2, Chapter 1 is uninteresting for me and nothing more than "nice to know".

What I'm getting at is that I doubt that Deep would even consider redesigning Chapter 1. Because Deep would also have to lend a hand in Chapter 2, because the 12 questions mentioned above would also have to be removed.

I think it's more likely that at least two thirds of the story has already been told (if it was only a third, we'd have another 18 years of development left, which seems incredibly unlikely). How long it goes on for though, depends heavily on the appetite of both the patrons and the Devs themselves to continue with it. And with respect to that, it could be sooner or later that we reach the end.

From what Deep has said recently, it's clear he's still as committed to the game as ever, and is enjoying making it. But he won't want to carry on with it forever, and it's likely he'll decide to end it, before most of the patrons would want him to do so. Which is why I think we're at least two thirds of the way through. That's why I suggested 3-4 years. But it could be more than that or even less, but probably not by too much?

You're probably right though. If he remasters Chapter 1, it will likely be in renpy as well, which would make the start of Chapter 2 obsolete, forcing him to remake that as well. The reality is, it's not going to be a problem. Because if he remasters Chapter 1 at all, it will be when the game has already finished, and it will affect nobody apart from him, because he'd then have to wait before starting something new. Which might mean of course that he loses patrons, who wouldn't be prepared to hang around for many months waiting for new content?

Thanks for the update!

If bar scene Is so big again and even Becca is there now too I really hope they will either have a threesome with David or Patrick. Both who barely got any scenes with Anna.

As for Ashley scene I think it’s hot that he will invite multiple ppl and one being Andrew and he doesn’t know it’s Anna. Very hot. I just really hope some of the fans are either ugly fat guys or dirty old men. Then I even will play Ashleys scene :p (Please don’t let all be just young/middle age fit guys again. )

I think it was clear to most of us he wouldn’t release in February… but i personally do hope its still this early March (at best this Sunday) - one other game I looked forward to got delayed too.my poor heart can’t handle more and longer delays :cry:

You could be right. I see it like this: I only play 3 storylines (office, bar and warehouse) in which I have set myself specific goals. In one storyline I could achieve my goal in the near future. In the other two, the progress is nowhere near what I would like.

Personally, I only expect a 3rd chapter and then the story is told.

There is rebecca ..ehehe ooh. Been waiting for her scenes.dev delay update as long as you add multiple scenes with rebecca .No problem for me.eheheh ohohoh. Ahahah.

Could someone please tell Deep that there is currently an error in the game's flow?

Setting:
- VN version
- Jeremy has been dead since chapter 1
- No interest in John

Flow:
We are in the hospital and Anna rejects John's advances. There is a bit of bla bla.
Change of scene. Anna is now in the shopping street and receives a call from....

Jeremy - oops, how come?

Anna goes to Jeremy's house and receives her dress for the following EOC meeting
Change of scene to the office: Ethan comes to Anna's office and gives her the dress for the following EOC meeting - Correct flow!

New normal for his so called patrons coz they are getting what they want from these updates and still a delay to the public

i think deep needs time to adjust some paths.

my personal path is:
- jeremy alive
- patrick runs bar
- earl alive and sergey in prison

i think i had some consistency issues here aswell. often jeremy and earl are dead in my versions...
