I liked it, but...
Although I always prefer "player can change", I really liked that, at least in terms of "no options", the move keys are the WASD, since I prefer them to arrow keys. Still, Q to parry is a pretty bad choice, since it uses the same finger that's used for movement, and this is bad during a battle. Also, parry mechanic itself is also weird, since it's basically another attack instead of the classical "defense/dodge on the right moment".
I can forgive the P. The E is also forgivable, since being the same finger would be another way (a very lazy one, "gamedevely" speaking) to bring the classical "healing makes the character don't act and move slower for a very short time, so it's not abused during combat". The L is ok, although, if I'm not mistaken, side-scrolling combat games with WASD as standard usually uses the J. Menu could also be Esc and I (classical "Iventory"). And the shift, at least for me, is perfect, since it's the same button I usually choose for dodge.
And also... Even games who don't like carrying their players at hand still tells what each button do, and not only this, but they place VERY easy enemies on the start, some of them even passive ones who don't move or fight back, and also enemies specifically to teach players the most basic things of the game. Dark Souls 1 does exactly that, with the whole prison part being a tutorial. But on this game I simply died some times until I noticed that Q was a command for parry, and I died many times more until I noticed that the "parry" is not really a "parry" but a "second attack", all while seeing the same pop ups while going to the first enemy. This is not because I'm bad, since I was simply testing until I could understand how the things work, this is just a lack of "first level design" that was made a very bad thing thanks to the fact that this game uses totally non conventional controls with deviations of classical mechanics.
Anyway, I really hope we can save and keep Pudica, and I also even hope for the possibility of a "I can fix her". The girl is tall, small breasted and have scars? Man, only better if she was totally flat, but with hentai world being mostly giant tits or lolis (or both), I can be satisfied with them being just small. Seriously... And that bitchy attitude? She is basically Girl's Frontline's UMP45, but even taller. And I ask if she has a terrible past or whatever; I love fixing broken things, although I can never guarantee that other people will also see it as "fixed", lol. No kidding: her screenshot convinced me to give this game a try even though it's still on a extremely early state.
