That scene can happen or it can't happen. but I don't remember what's the condition is for Isabella to walk in.

i played the 1.38 version, and perfectly remember, Isabella dont walk in while you do Kate. maybe the dev upwritten the already finished scenes... well this is not good thing
You can miss it if you take the wrong choices during the scene but the it was there.

You can get that from version 1.37. That was having bad luck in the order of decisions, but they increased the number of cases in which it happens. That is, if you make the right decisions you can still have sex with Kate without Isabelle finding out.
I didn't even have sex with Kate, and I still get Isabelle angry at me for a scene I never did...
Edit:
Rolled back, and just didn't go to the main hall, instead waited a bit, and it fixed itself, I got worried for a bit though, that the game somehow was strong arming me into having done that.

Turns out if I enter the main hall/entrance of the school while Isabelle is there, the game assumes I had sex with Kate for some reason.

Same also happens with the cafeteria.

Near the end of the new quest (The Grand Gesture), there is a choice when talking to Isabelle. Between "You are the only one I want" and "You act like I cheated on you (...)". Choose the second one

Exactly how does siding with Maxine screw over a certain someone if her quest in fact 'sorta' deal with a literal spirit thing? Wouldn't it be the reverse and ignoring it causes the problem? Kinda lost there.. or is this a case of you chose the wrong girl moment cause it's def killed the mood otherwise I love the game!
