They don't generally say what the next update is. It's a surprise at the start of every month. As for Kate, the last dedicated Kate update was a year and a month ago. That means if the update this week isn't a Kate update it will be the 14th month in a row to not be one.

Great game and amazing art but also genuinely the only game where i seriously need a guide. (an updated one)
The amount of missable scenes and events is ridiculous, replaying doesnt feel great either due to the sheer length of some quests as well as the ambiguity of the choices.
