I am talking about the kids crying about a kink (NTR) being added to the game that is the realistic outcome of opening up the marriage (or any NTS scenario), and pressuring/harrasing the dev until he is forced to change the scenes he worked hard into producing, and that ultimately leading to frustration for him and possible burn out. But everything has already been said, so I'll just leave it here.

We can be pretty sure that this one is abandoned. I've been surprised before, though. I wouldn't be surprised if four or five years down the line we suddenly get an update out of the blue because the Dev lost their day job or something. Hope springs eternal and all that. In the meantime, don't hold your breath.

The way the dev laid out the story made it look like the wife had set everything up which made people hate the wife. Dev kinda gave up on it after that.
So it's not a single scene but stuck at writing? That makes sense tbh. When I've read a single scene and backlash of it caused abandonment, I really was curious about the scene.

It's one scene that does it. There is a conversation with the husband and wife and it comes across like she's already been fucking around and is setting him up to join in.
According to the dev that's not the case but the way the scene is set makes her look guilty AF.
The dev kinda wrote the story into a corner and it would have taken a bit of backtracking and rewriting to sort it out.
I believe that developer shouldn't listen nagging voices. It doesn't matter if she had it planned or she is the novice. It is fiction, not real life. It is nice to have wife, that she is proactive, but in real life they are not. They are shy, they do not open to wild things or it takes time. So if you do not like this type of game/stories, find some that you like it. Simple
Definitely. The devs were putting out a lot of red herrings early on, deliberately, to make it look like she was cheating. They acknowledged they got that wrong. Then they tried to back track on those red herrings and tame them down and remove a few, but by then the damage was done in relation to Steph. And then there was the 1.6 debacle. By the time it came for the big reveal a lot of people didn't believe the reveal or Steph. I thought the reveal was a great gotcha moment. I was clearly in the minority.

I think you missed the entire point of the issue.
Nobody would have given a shit if she had started everything, it's a game about wife sharing, not a single person is against that.
The issue is that's not what the dev wanted her to be. The way he wrote a few of the scenes made it look like she had which isn't what the dev wanted so he backtracked and tried to change it but it just made more plot holes.

What made many upset was the railroading to forgive steph as well as every time saying "no" to steph would lead either to game over or to losing scenes/bad paths. They railroaded the MC to be a doormat.
I cant see that outcry for games like exciting games, where fmc and mc are equal, and mc has the same control about the encounters then fmc.
