Maybe Kirei's looking out for Sakura and sees the MC's true intentions as nothing more than surface-level satiation? Maybe she feels an intrinsic need to keep Sakura 'safe' due to Sakura doing the same for her after Kirei's own tribulations? Or maybe she's simply jealous of Sakura getting closer to the MC? Lots of ways to read into it ;)

Yeah I would have made things ten times worse if I were to handle that situation.

I know she has her reasons, though I do wish Arvin wasn't just trying to make excuses but that's where he is at emotionally I suppose. I can see how it could come off as him taking advantage of Sakura's vulnerability. I'm not saying Arvin calling her out or snapping at her would have been good, just cathartic I guess. Maybe a way of failing her route if you as a player chose to have him flip out at her and/or lose patience with her.

It was more about just having a bad option I guess. A way to just be like "fuck this" and walk off, getting a bad end lol.

But like I said, I am curious to see where her story goes. I haven't got that much further but it was nice that Yuna was the one to talk some sense into her, means the characters aren't completely reliant on MC to solve all their problems.

I suppose it would be pretty cathartic to tell Kirei to fuck off - mirror her own energy back at her :LOL:

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid the 'MC is the centre of the universe' kind of writing that I feel most adult VN's tend to fall into. It's pretty unrealistic to have the MC resolve every one of the LI's problems.

How do I unlock the 2nd to last Sakura scene and last Mirei scene? It'd be great if there was a walkthrough or hint on the scenes you missed out.

Not going to lie, it's a bit frustrating having to replay the game for a single character storyline where so many of the events have prereqs based on the other girls.

Unfortunately, the game isn't a wholly linear visual novel - choices you make within certain areas may affect future outcomes. I try my best to make the options as clear as possible without a clear immersion break, so my apologies if this one may have slipped you by :confused:

Yeah this is just a case where a variable was used in an earlier version, then removed (almost) entirely. I just missed removing one instance of it

Good to know. ...don't suppose I could get any hints? Swear I ran into one on my first runthrough, but I can't remember what it was, ironically. I know there has to be SOMETHING to do with the pet names the girls can call you, but I feel like I'm just not putting the pieces together. Also, as fun as translating Iris' Bio was... My eyes didn't enjoy the process. XD ...Wait. Since when could we change her name?

Glitchy text is fun :) The option to change her name has been available since 1.3.0, I believe - so since roughly December 2023.

...yup, that was it. XD. And I guess the option just hides until a point. Definitely wasn't in my settings before I started, but I only noticed it after finishing Chapter One.

Ah. The option might become available when you meet her for the first time.

Would make sense. I guess time will tell why her name is also important. ...Wish there was a menu or something to hint at secrets. Done a few runthroughs now, but haven't found anything beyond those three. Is the event in Chapter Two just a placeholder for now?

The event in the Chapter 2 menu is just a placeholder for now, yeah - I'll be adding some events there for the upcoming 1.10.0 update.

Most of the secrets I want to stay relatively hidden - I like the fact that people can stumble across them, and most bear little to no story significance which means you're not missing out on too much :)
