Quick update regarding my mod archive:
Bad news is I had to delete my old Proton Drive account due to security issues of my own creation, so all the old Proton Drive links are dead. Good news is I was able to pretty quickly stand up a new account, so you can find my Anthro Heat mod archive here now:

can someone please explain to me what's wrong with this game's performance? i played it a year ago and averaged around 50-60 fps now i can't even break 10, what the fuck changed?

Does anyone know any other bi/gay sandbox games? I love this game but I'm kind of getting used to the characters
mods keeps loading but nothing works, extracted, and no more skin option accessible

That's an issue with the current build (which is a tester build, not a milestone build). Hopefully they get fixed soon.
Just deleted every guys mods while keeping woman skins did it, one of them was probably creating errors, now it's working fine, just having no feedback on what is breaking in logs dosen't help to find the problem

Are all the skins you currently have working? I specifically tested the built-in Sasha skins with no mods loaded and still had issues.

Basically, it makes the background (what would normally be the 3D scene for the characters) a certain color, that you can then key out with your VR headset software to superimpose the characters over your real environment (captured by your VR headset's cameras). Essentially, it lets you use your room as the background so you can larp that you actually have a dragon waifu or something.

pretty well sums it up. I'm using virtual desktop because it has a chroma key feature built in but Im pretty sure there are some other ways to do it as well. hopefully i can get it working a little better with the updated modding tools but it'll be a while before i can get to it, other projects have priority atm. even the hackjob test version i had put together worked OK.
its a shame i dont know more about coding and stuff because theres a ton of potential to flesh out passthrough to make it more interactive. meta is allowing devs access to the environment data and scanning hardware so someone who knows what they're doing could map the virtual room to a physical space, simulating model/enviornment occlusion with depth sensors and a bunch of other neat tricks
