If I may ask, if anyone plays the game on desktop. Is there a way to turn off these 'ghost' hands?

Okay so how do I download this with it working? Is there a tutorial somewhere? When I unpack it and run the game it just says "failed to load mono". I'm pretty sure this has been asked many times and I'm terribly sorry for asking, but I just have no idea what I may be doing wrong that causes this problem to occur.
I just checked now and found it. I honestly thought that it was an option somewhere in the performance section.

make sure the file path/directory for where the game is extracted doesnt have any non english standard characters in it. stuff like accented characters, cyrillic etc breaks things. should be something liek C:\Users\username\Downloads\heat folder or wherever you put it.
unrelated but had a very brief chance to check out the new version and was pleased to see that they fixed basically everything i had listed in my autofellatio complaint post from the other day. probably just coincidence, ( if not, hi edef and co. thanks for listening lol) still a little bit of jank but its miles better than the previous iteration. only thing i really noticed was some minor alignment funkiness occasionally, will get more in depth once i get some more time with it. taking screenshots was kinda fucked up on my laptop for some reason ( have been out of town all weekend) or i'd post some examples lol.

I've noticed this too, they need to take a page out of SoftScale's book, farmD does a great job with collision detection, compliance, and kinematics/IK stuff in terms of the player character's hands conforming to body shape and the way the fingers move when you move your hand along the other chars body. feels a lot more like an actual hand than a rigid hand shaped pointer with a bit of finger curl ability. would still like to see proper hand tracking implemented given the quest 2 and 3 can both do hand tracking and leap motion/ultraleap also exist and work amazing when implemented properly

Modding anything other then reskins is a pain for this game, I think only 1 or 2 character mods have ever been made and they only work on very old version of the game because updates constantly break mods.
GOAT is the only game that gets community mod support for characters.
steamvr is very weird when it comes to unsupported hardware (non vr ready pc) it can technically work and will once but only once work after that you pretty much need to completely remove steam and restart from scratch each time and it's not guarantied to work that's not a problem with the game but with the entire platform I recommend upgrading your pc based on steamvr requirements it just works after that although if you have a vr ready pc and it still don't work try steam link and launching the game through the vr headset rather then the pc

been having some fun fuckin around with the autofellatio functionality some more. no major glaring issues to report, but there are still a few kinda fucky things that happen that i've noticed.
1. the muffled blowjob audio doesnt trigger most of the time, so you still get the characters normal moans and stuff even with their mouth full of their own dicks. not a huge issue but iirc its also one thas present if they're sucking a toy or another dick.
2. some of the characters, mainly rielly and hera iirc, still have some flexibility issues that make it difficult to get a good auto fellatio pose with.
3. characters, most noticeably atlas but some of the others, still have weird clipping and body distortion issues with the neck and shoulders especially when orgasming. like pushing their head past the base of their cock and clipping into their body and weird bending of the neck that might be some kind of IK bug. might have to tweak the orgasm animations a bit or have a specific variant tied to autofellatio/bjs to prevent this but i'm not an expert.
4. some poses are worse/more broken and prone to weird model deformation than others when it comes to getting them to self succ.
attached are some screenshots for shits and giggles.
