This post sums up all my feelings into one. This is NOT a game.
A game is something that you can play. One with mechanics, one where you can win/lose to some capacity, make progress, DO things.
It feels like there's absolutely NOTHING to do in this game. Like wow. You loaded up some models with rigs onto Unity, and added in VR support. ...Now when are you going to make the game?
The characters have no AI still to this day. They can't even WALK AROUND a room! Like... are you for real. Any 80s, 90s, 2001 even with GTA III blows this game on almost every level. I legit have made throw-away games on Unity where, believe it or not, enemies can MOVE and walk around the world. Even interact with the player! (Woah! So innovative)
There's no real mechanics...? You can touch the models... I guess. Load some animations? Is this even a "game" or just a really bad Animation Software (SFM but bad). There's no progression in the game. There's no worlds/levels to really explore. You can't really talk with any of the characters or meaningfully interact with anyone. They can't interact with you at all except like 1-2 interactions (with Atlas I think). Another game I played was FarmD which was a Furry VR porn game yet blows this one out of the park. Actual levels, game mechanics, AI (no way!), and it was possible to both Top and Bottom. Good luck bottoming in this game, especially in VR. It just does not work. I don't understand why FarmD has proper Bottom interactions but this one still does not, yet this one is literally making thousands of dollars. A month right? Wow.
From the management side, what a disaster. There seems to be no real roadmap for anything. Nothing has deadlines. All we get are the laziest and safest, low hanging fruit additions. From adding new characters (which are so lazy they don't even BOTHER to add new rigs for them) which largely just consists of commissioning modellers and voice actors, to a huge amount of bug fixing instead of actually developing new features. When you don't have deadlines and plans, people end up often not working efficiently and avoiding the hard and risky work. And that's really what it feels like to me here.
Big rant aside. I hope this game actually gets a huge management change and starts developing meaningful features. It feels like it's literally made ZERO progress for years, despite the huge amount of money poured into it. For the people in charge of this project, Do better.
