Definitely seconding this. From my experience, I've had some fairly safe downloads from STEAMUNLOCKED, but I'm using both my browser's built-in adblocker and ublock (now using AdNauseum instead), with Popup Blocker (Strict) but overall the site is sketch as hell and usually somewhat slow anyway. But, for a more generally safe experience, use steamrip (dot com).

Despite some of you guys getting incredibly angry at the game you didn't pay for it's been very useful to find bugs that weren't reported elsewhere. Many fixes and pieces of feedback were directly motivated by posts here. It's hard for us to fully test a game like this since there's just so much and a lot of interactions come from being horny, and we just can't be horny all the time. Thank you for your feedback!
Development isn't over and we'll continue improving the game! Just remember that game development is very difficult and the game has a fixed scope. For example, a single character for this game takes 3-4 months to design, model, retopologize, texture, and rig from scratch, and about a month to implement in game, not to mention all the animations and voice acting. Most characters have unique skeletons which makes it harder to re-use assets.
In the future the game may pivot towards multiplayer, either that or we'll focus on more ambitious core improvements. We'll decide with a poll in the future!
I think they also sell it on itch.io which is a folder you can hide as it isn't run on a launcher.

I agree with Lambobeansyeens. I am sick of everything being a subscription. I would rather pay once and have a product. I will be buying on itch.io since I found it (even though the de-indexing made it much harder; thanks mastercard/visa). I think this product is quite nice and mod support is a positive thing for the community.

I'm remember you posting in this thread a few years ago so I figured you were still checking in on occasion. at least this thread has been good for something as far as feedback and bug fixes are concerned. I always tried to be detailed about bugs I encountered in the game and constructive with my criticism of the game I mostly didn't pay for (I did sub to the patreon occasionally when I could afford it fwiw), so hopefully what I posted at least contributed something to making the game better lol. . it may not be everything I want in a porn game, but it does check more boxes than basically anything else. even outside of the furry niche I think Heat is one of the best VR porn games period. only Virt-a-mate and maybe wildlife andoone or two others come close, if you can even count wildlife as a vr game lol.

I haven't bought it yet, but I did download the demo. fwiw you can hide it pretty well in steam, to where it won't show activity or even show up in your library
Its crazy cause VAM (Virt-A-Mate) was like 10 dollars, furries are so greedy its insane sometimes
