Is the game more flexible now? Last time I even attempted to try it, I could use a few premade poses they made, otherwise it took a long time to get a character positioned, horribly might i add, even with VR. It was a lot of effort just to rub one out.
Unless something changed between the previous version and 1.0. Its exactly the same experience.

Might depend a bit on your setup (whether you are using VR or desktop only and if VR, how large your space is) but for me yeah its still somewhat of a pain in the ass to pose the characters. It seems like you can make custom poses through some kind of modding, however, that is a little more work than I have felt the trouble of doing so far.

Some things I would like to see added:

  • Dynamic height adjustment keybind or command to make it easier to play as seated/laying so you can more fully interact with the characters while maintaining the illusion of your avatar standing or performing actions in some non-seated position
  • Ability to, once you have posed a character in some way, perhaps save that pose in a bookmark list for recalling at a later time
  • It would be fun to actually be able to order the characters to change their position (I call a character to switch from "against wall presenting" -> "bed missionary" and they will return from their dynamically posed position to some sort of stand/walk position, walk to a new location, and then assume the new position)
That last one would probably be an enormous undertaking to make it look at all "natural" as there would probably be some work needed to define different position types (getting into a laying position from a walk and further, getting into a position on an element like a bed or chair) but it would be a cool experiment.

Game is pretty cool though, decided to back after trialing the copy from here as I want to see where this goes post 1.0

Hey folks!

The game is out on Steam now. Buy it if you like it!

I come back every now and then to read this thread. Despite some of you guys getting incredibly angry at the game you didn't pay for it's been very useful to find bugs that weren't reported elsewhere. Many fixes and pieces of feedback were directly motivated by posts here. It's hard for us to fully test a game like this since there's just so much and a lot of interactions come from being horny, and we just can't be horny all the time. Thank you for your feedback!

Development isn't over and we'll continue improving the game! Just remember that game development is very difficult and the game has a fixed scope. For example, a single character for this game takes 3-4 months to design, model, retopologize, texture, and rig from scratch, and about a month to implement in game, not to mention all the animations and voice acting. Most characters have unique skeletons which makes it harder to re-use assets.

In the future the game may pivot towards multiplayer, either that or we'll focus on more ambitious core improvements. We'll decide with a poll in the future!

:giggle:

See the critique is, how much of this are YOU actually doing? If you're the main programmer on the team.
You aren't the one Modelling it (I'm pretty sure), you're just commissioning others to do it with the money from Patreon. That's not you doing any work, like, that's not taking away development time from you.
I do agree designing and rigging also takes time but, I doubt you're the one largely handling it. From what I remember, you went against a Poll Winner simply because it would've required creating a new rig, so you decided to cut work and just reuse existing rigs. Again, that's a LOT of free time gained from not having to rig. What was it actually spent on?

If you actually had to make a list of meaningful gameplay features you have implemented in the game, what would they be? Because I'm struggling to make one that exceeds 3... And they're not much.

The characters STILL don't have basic pathfinding for goodness sake. It's been YEARS. This type of stuff any indie dev can do without a month. A week if you're speedrunning. Majority of furries I swear are bottoms. It sucks there's nearly 0 content for them simply because it'd take actual work to do so, and it's easy to just coast and do little. Obsessing over low-hanging fruits and bugfixing is what people like Yandere Dev do. You gotta actually balance it with big features.

I guess I really am expecting too much. I wanted a proper Simulator Game with basic game mechanics. All this is is a low-effort Model loader where the pretty models got commissioned from very talented artists. (They do look good!)
I just wish more effort was actually put into the game programming wise. It feels like there's nearly 0 effort. Like actually none.

In the future the game may pivot towards multiplayer
With how barebones and barely "game" this game is mechanically. What would even be the point.
Maybe after you actually developed the game it'd be worth it, but as of right now just focus on the singleplayer experience which is incredibly lacking to begin with. I wouldn't be against multiplayer in the future, it'd be relatively easy to do, but now is not the time imo. You barely are developing the game rn and already obsessing over bugfixing, adding in multiplayer would actually be a nightmare since it seems like you can't handle it by yourself.

Ugh. I don't mean to be hateful and toxic. Truly. You're a person, I don't mean to imply you're incapable I just, it feels like there's very little work being done on this game. Just feels like drip-feeding and Patreon farming with little effort or push to.

sooo has anyone found or cracked the 1.0 yet?
Pretty sure "1.0" is just them pushing their current build to production, haven't seen any new build uploads on Patreon. Steam version might be different, but I do not have the means to crack that one, and I think they planned to release parallel builds on Patreon too.
