Her name is Tess, she's the MC's sister and in the next update with promise three scenes with her. At the moment there is not much content with her, so we can only wait.

Your main GF is OK with you dating other girls and is even encouraging you to do it. It's not a harem just yet, but you have at least two LIs independently from each other pushing for one. Both girls who are MC's GFs officially know about each other and are fine with it. there is little to no jealousy till now, but there is some sneaking going on where the MC isn't fully honest. There is romance, but the game is just at the start, so there isnt much of it yet.

Yeah, I'd say this is our kind of game: definitely actual romance, and it's turning out to be a very happy harem!
I think there's a possibility of certain characters having a bit of an issue, but you've straight up got your first official girlfriend in this game immediately being like "hey you should date more girls too

New to the game and got to the point where I interacted w/ Nea the chick who is being bullied and met Cha'relle and then made it to the classroom in the morning, but how do we start the class to progress time?
I have researched this, but not finding anything related to this. There is no hyperlink in the class to click.

Also, the map have markers for when there is something to do.

short answer: yes.
slightly longer answer: if there is an event in the classroom, you see a silhouette there, like for any other event.
Thanks for the response to the both of you, that helped. I'm now at the point after the pool hangout w/ the family. Quick question guys, I'm not interested in the gay futa path, but I did choose to befriend Nea for the game, but I chose not to peek on him/her when she was using the bathroom. Fastforward to my current event after the pool where Evelyn shows Jamie/mother and Tess the video of the fight and tells them that Nea is my GF, and then mother wishes to meet her.
My question: Why the heck isn't there an option to deny it and explain how we are only friends, etc? Am I on the gay path or is there an option to come up that allows me to redirect to the heterosexual path?
There is no gay path, and there is no futa character.
Nea (the transwoman) does seem to be the main love interest, and my impression is that avoiding her isn't fully implemented. My recommendation would be to avoid the game altogether if you find Nea offputting.

Game is actually decent, Nea story actually impressed me a lot, she seems to be the only one who actually got the furthest and most complete story so far. Waiting for new update.

The last progress update was a month ago and he had a lot of the tasks already finished, so if he keeps that pace he should get a new update in the next couple of months.
