You can't really compare them.
PL is complete and a VN.
This one is a sandbox that's far from complete.
Both are good but IMHO PL is better.
Man... I thought this game wasn't gonna be a big deal for me or just thought it'd be silly with a name like that but... holy shit I love Nea so much. Well written trans characters just make me melt into a puddle of tears I love her so much

If PL characters are at 9 (which I can agree with), then this is the 10 for me
But they are quite different, I'm down with pure VNs but I also like sandboxes, and PL is finished while A69 isn't. But I get excited for each of these updates, and I think some amazing content has been added so far!

The latest update felt really sweet and compelling. Maybe because there was no "sex cliffhanger".(aka blue balls)

I just used the Universal Ren'Py Mod to change the variable for the new update.
The issue was I had animations previously enabled on the older content, so the game was showing them enabled, but failed to show them in the new content. With URM, I searched for "animation" in the variables section, and changed the chapter nine variable to "True". That fixed it for me. No need to start the game over or delete anything.

I can only recommend you the usual manipulations.
- Have you updated JoiPlay and all its plugins? I've grouped the latest updates in a "Mega" link (link in my previous post).
(Ren'Py 8.1 is buggy on Samsung mobile devices and surely on other brands too. I therefore recommend not installing the Ren'Py 8.1 plugin. Ren'Py 8.1 games will still work thanks to the Ren'Py 8.2 plugin.)
- If that's not enough, reinstall the game.
- Saves the "save" folder.
- Deletes the game entirely.
- Download and reinstall the game only.
- Test if the game works.
- If OK, you can restore your "save" folder and test again.
- Then add the mods of your choice and retest.
I hope this has helped you. Unfortunately, I can't do much more without having the device in my hands.
