This is actually the dev's second game, his first one was Parental Love and he finished that.

Unless the game's unvierse takes liberties with the advancements of medical prowess, that last one's off the table. So far, that's something that was barely attempted, not something that is widely established. It will probably takes at least a couple decades at minimum.

I like this game a LOT but it's starting to feel like it will be one of those games that will never be finished. This game doesn't get a lot of updates and the updates aren't that big.

Yes, Luxee is rather of a slow burner when it comes to rythm. Which was, in part, cause by the absurd amount of harassement they recieved. They also have a life, and possibly a job. Highly doubt this gig makes enough money for them to live off it alone, especially if they have a family to support too.
And no, it's not their first game. They don't lack experience in making games.
What they do lack is experience in making sandbox-style game, which is what this game is : a way to try and gain experience. Learning by making is very common, and while their previous game was rather linear, this one is meant to be more free-flowing. Sure, it doesn't seem like it right now, but that's because we can just follow the updates. Once it's father along, the goal isn't to force a singular chain of events, but to let people tackle the girls' storylines in whatever order they want (until they hit a point where various ones intersect at least).

At this point, with all the bullshit censorship that is going on, I am just happy that the dev is still working on the game.

I don't know what's weirder, the fact that Patreon hasn't banned him yet (knowing about his previous controversial game) or the fact that people mostly only want to support him on Patreon instead of SS, which means he has to deal with censorship...

In my opinion, SS should be more popular. If people want to see what was originally planned in the game, they should choose SS. Is it really that hard to create an account and support him (or any other dev) there?

SS is starting the clean-up too. You can forget about certain content, and they may not stop there. The only way is to create patches, but again, how long will that last with associations finding the content and reporting it to platforms such as Patreon?

I don't know, but this game is becoming irrelevant to me. It's a very old game, updates are spaced far apart, and when a new update comes out, I don't even remember what happened in the previous one. The story isn't very appealing, and the models are a bit dated. And having to start a new game with each update, just to get back into the story and get into the rhythm, doesn't appeal to me. I downloaded it now, only glanced at the images and animations, and it really didn't motivate me to play.
