What is with the links to download?
I go at least 3 different .exe files, 5 redirects and one that finally worked after it tried to send me to a different link twice...

Every single download mirror ticks my anti-malware to go off. Luxee, wtf... Guess I'm not playing this anymore...
The code has remained the same for the past several versions and it has been mentioned repeatedly over the past two days that the code hasn't changed. So my point still stands.
...Though I do agree the version numbering in the OP should absolutely be updated to reflect that the code is still valid. No idea why it hasn't been already.

You both need to install a gods damned ad blocker. FFS people, its not that difficult to do. If the website is trying to get you to download an exe file DON'T DO IT. The only exe file you should have is inside the .zip file that you should have downloaded. Get the ad blocker from here:

and try again.EVEN WITH ADBLOCKERS THE LINKS STILL CAUSE MALWARE HITS! It isn't the lack of adblocker: those download sites are riddled with malware- it has been reported dozens of times!

In previous versions, when I applied the patch, the 18+ text was replaced with "Kawaii." This version doesn't. Has this changed, or is the patch not working?

No, they don't and I use standard Defender with DefenderUI and got zero warnings. If you are getting warnings, then you are downloading something else. F95 wouldn't use them if they were infecting people. They are on the approved file hosts list and been tested.

And again, I download all 5 and got zero warnings and even tested them with Virustotal and nothing.
BUZZHEAVIER is a respected site as well for many of the big piracy game repack sites. That site and VIKINGFILES also straight up tell you this:

Or you can just start the game, and the word "Mom" comes up in the first 5 seconds when at the house, tab skip which will take about 10 seconds to get to the first interaction in the house. If you have no patch it says "Landlady"
I understand the dangers of unknown .exe files. Just shouting out that the hosts are sketch... ier than usual.
funny enough; the .exe had the 7zip logo as their icon so whoever is setting these up is trying really hard to snag someone.

They are free hosts and they've admitted (the owner of Buzzheavier has even commented in the approved hosts thread) they have ads and to use an adblocker. The good ones even warn people and say "close all windows and return here" and that "downloads take place on this page, close other windows".
They have to make a living somehow to keep the servers up since it's all free.
The other sites have paid tiers and/or download limits to make up for less ads.

I use NoScript with Adblock plus. You'll need to unblock each site one time and leave others blocked. You'll have to learn to use it but this will stop all those virus things you get. I hardly ever see ads anymore.
