This post should have been two spread out over a couple weeks since I haven't done a general update in a while but I wound up working on two major things I wanted to show at the same time so I do apologize if I seemed dead to the believer and gamer tiers for a bit!
Firstly, I am aiming to finish the 0.1 a week into January, meaning the game will be done but I also need people to test it first. Normally it takes 1-2 days to test but since this is my first update of the game and I am writing all of my own code rather than have someone write the core of it like I did last time, it may take anywhere from 4 days to a week to test and fix all of the variables fully. Obviously within January the game will be out but the 15th is a fair estimation.
So yeah, a rough estimate but this is the timeline I have in my head and what I want you guys to know I am aiming for. I was hoping to get a Christmas release out but there is just not enough time to get everything I want done and I want 0.1 to be as polished/fappable as possible.
The map in Apocalust is a 3d top down city with the water, turbines, clouds and trees fully animated. In 0.1 I am using just the city view for the full thing, although you will venture out of there a few times using thumbnails on the side of the screen for now. Eventually I am going to add zoom ins and outs to the city, country, suburban areas but I am going to do this over time from 0.2-0.4 or so because obviously it can be a bit time consuming.
The third thing I want to mention is the super natural side of the game!
I was going to delve deeply into this but I think to avoid any spoilers I'll just give some key notes of what you get and what the general gist is:
You will get powers but it will not overburden every scene. The powers are more to do with the general story as well as an excuse to put in virtually any fetish we want. They are also there to add a bit of a usable power dynamic with the MC and his surroundings to use any time he wants. (1,2,3)

The powers are sometimes contextual and sometimes reusable I.E some powers may be story specific and others are repeatable as either a small action or sometimes entire scenes that are repeatable, similar to the encounters.
I will spoil one major power though because this factors mainly into gameplay. It is the MC's clairvoyance ability. The MC does get premonitions but obviously this power is limited as knowing exactly what's going to happen and when would not be too fun! Think short blips of the past and present in a sea of fog.
Mainly, clairvoyance is used for a tip system as seen here! If you are ever confused as to where to go or what to do, just click a girl for a push in the right direction.
One thing I just want to stress is that I am adding supernatural stuff, but I am also trying to use it sparingly as to not break immersion, but yeah there are supernatural elements, just not quite as harsh as last time. Think super hero rather than demonically possessed manlet like last time.
That's it for general game info for now, as you can see from the screenshots there is a night/day/date system as well as inventory and scrolls (powers) list but a lot of that is still being worked on and will be done by release.
What remains before the 0.1 update is one final story preview and lastly a game trailer!

I know 0.1 has been brutally slow compared to regular updates but I hope that you see the quality jumps were worth it and we can go back to a normal release schedule soon!
