But why is this month's deadline any more important to you in believing him than all of the previous (missed) deadlines over the past two years? Just generally curious about the thought process, that's all.
That's a good question that deserves multiple answers.
1) His previous posts gave timelines for when he would release his work, but they didn't really delve into
why it was taking so long. This latest post was the first one that actually seemed genuine and personal to me, instead of him making excuses. Sort of like when you just need to get something off of your chest after holding it in for so long.
2) While I've been interested in this game's progress, I suspected it would take some time, so I never actually expected him to deliver the game by his estimated dates. I mean, think about it. Look at how long it took for the first release of Midnight Paradise, each release of Prince of Suburbia, or the latest release of Milfy City (which is still not out...). This is a common trend by game developers, so I guess I never really got my hopes up in the first place.
3) I've got a crapload of porn to sift through on top of my responsibilities as an adult. I don't have to worry about whether this one game will come out when I've got so many other games/"real" porn to check out. But for some reason, I returned to this thread last month and my interest in the project has been revitalized... a bit.
