It's funny that you're asking this now, because I'm actually in the process of looking into it and evaluating the amount of work it would require — including some significant adjustments I might need to make to the game itself. For example, certain music tracks probably aren’t royalty-free, and that kind of thing can be a real issue. In short, I’m exploring the possibility, while also doing my best not to fall behind on Chapter 3, since I’m currently fully focused on it and don’t want to break the productive momentum I’ve built up.

Just out of curiosity though — what made you bring it up? Does having the game available on Steam matter to you in a particular way? It is already available on itch.io, by the way:

Having a beautiful library with all the games you like is a wonderful thing. At least, that would be a reason for me if I didn't live in Germany.

I buy games I like on steam. And prefer to collect there. If game is not on steam I will not buy on another platform. silly but that is how I am.

its still being worked on. episode 3 has been in the works for 2 years. it might come out this year or it might not.

Yes, it stops near the end of Chapter 1, but I’ll finish it eventually (there was someone helping me out, but I haven’t heard from him in a while). And to be fair, the large number of different choices and paths in the game can be a bit overwhelming, and only true fans who are really familiar with all the arcs and possibilities can actually help me complete it.

Yes, it's still in development, but just for your information, it wasn't Chapter 3 itself that took me so much time — I actually remade the whole game from the beginning. I revamped the skill tree, the gallery, reworked almost all the images, etc. It was the remake that took up most of my time, unfortunately, but it was necessary because without it, I couldn't move forward.

I also went through a lot of setbacks (my Patreon page was shut down, for instance), which slowed me down a bit lately (I have no more income related to the game so yeah, I'm force to work on other things). But despite all that, Chapter 3 is progressing better than ever, and now very focused on it.

Damn, that’s really unlucky! The game should be stable at this point.
Could you please send me the error screens, so we can fix this as quickly as possible (and check if you're on the correct version of the game, etc.)? Do you play with any mods?

Do you have an aprox. of when could be finished?

I'm aiming for 1 or 2 months max — it could be sooner or later, usually later.
That said, I rarely give estimates because too many things can affect development time and the challenges are often unpredictable, especially when working alone (or almost alone) on a project of this scale.
Generally, I only start communicating when I'm working on the final scene, and then again when I enter the beta testing phase to announce the exact release date.
