Do side quests, you'll earn 1 wp per quest.

And those quests reset every playthrough, you'll never run out of wps.

how to fix this ?

It's a bug which prevents you to cross Eden Bridge. You could wait for 1.06 patch or downgrade your game to 1.04m reach final boss and patch it again, because patch 1.04 prevents you to finish the game.

Are you holding ctrl trying to skip dialogues? This bug will occur when you do that.

I just let the whole bridge section ran normally & the bug didn't trigger.
