Did you try to use some of the automatic saves from last time? Sometimes it helps me with other games. According to the changelog, this time he didn't any kind of modification that require to reboot.

to fix it temporarily just set default value. put this in game/fix.rpy:

This game What I can say is very good in storyline, BUT the models are horrible.
