Think my game is bugged then because I've been to the pool several times and seen the alien scene but I'm missing the trigger to go further.

Did you already buy the book on aliens from Lily in the Mall? If you have that (and it shows in your inventory), you need then actually to read it. (IIRC, it's something like click it and then click the Read button that appears; I'm not able to get into the game right now to look it up.) You should see a brief scene where the MC talks about reading it. Then you'll either be told you finished the book or you'll be told there's more reading to do. Reading also fatigues the MC, so be sure to watch your exhaustion level as well.

The save file in the OP helped. It's a bit further back than my current save and I have to work back up all my relationship stats but at least it has the book in it already.

Great Game, just missing a proper incest patch, and few choices and some dialogs are not in English.
Though i am having trouble in read "book on aliens" part, I saw a event in which the book store girl was reading it, but i dont know how to get it, book store is empty.

I don't know what you mean by "proper", but there is already , and it's about the best you're going to get. It searches text in the game and replaces references with "mom" or "sister" or whatever. Since there aren't variables for the relationship references, a patch can't just reassign "Landlady" to "Mother" or similar that patches for other games do. The best you can get is for the patch to replace text that exists using logic limited by lack of context.

Ren'Py doesn't have a way to know, for example, when the MC is talking with a friend about his mother (e.g., "When I asked, my mom said..." vs. talking with his sister about his mother (e.g., "When I asked, Mom said..."). So you'll have places where it won't sound quite right, but there's no way to get it to work perfectly.

Yep I meant exactly that when i said proper, once you apply the mod, everyone starts calling mom, mom. Its all hard coded, will need manual editing, since its too much work for a patch, we can only expect the developer to do something.

It has also to do with the subregional cultre, it is totally the order of the day to refer to your parents by their nickname, firstname or surname when talking to a third party, and even when talking directly to them (not so comon at the time) since it is tranlated from spanish to english it is very difficult to find all the references specally when u don´t speak the language

There is nothing to botch. There are no ways to restart the quest unless I restart the entire game.
Either the book vanished after one reading session (I can't recall, didn't notice until much later), or the item was overwritten in the inventory when I added another item to it (which is not that uncommon as a coding error).
Probably good to mention that I'm on my first run-through of the game, so it's possible this is a new issue that didn't exist in previous versions.

edit: restarted the entire game just to get an idea where it might have gone wrong. Apparently there is just one reading session that already progresses the quest, so it seems the most logical explanation would be that the book itself just vanished or was overwritten at some point from the inventory.

My suspect is energy. If you don't have enough energy to complete the task it says

A Few hours later....
Interesting, makes you want to continue reading...
I should go rest and go back to reading later.

So now the book & quest are in an incomplete state, then something triggers the book getting overwritten in inventory because you've both read it and haven't.

I haven't tried enough paths to know which causes the book to overwrite, but every other book you buy hangs around in your inventory forever.

No solid date that I know of (others might know more, though). There was a post on Patreon a week ago about v0.73, so Kuervo78 is still progressing with the game.
