Hello, I do not know where to write to. Therefore, I will write here. I'm the developer of this game, or rather not this one. Because this version is just a buggy piece of code. This was posted on ITCHI by my former partner, with whom we started making the game. He did it to spite me. Is it possible to delete this news, in a couple of days I will create a page here with a much better version of the game for free. Please help me.

i don't get what / where / find bug ? maybe NO bug version 0.1.0v ? only complain MC cannot change name or no character build, just play other people story.. but that ME problem sure there people enjoy playing WELT! lol

Hello, this is a new version. The old version was wrong, there's a long history of betrayal. Give me 1 day and I'll fix it =)

The beginning description is brutally ESL.
"The story is about an ordinary guy whose life will change 180 degrees at one moment. Welt works as an ordinary ship builder, caring for his sick mother, and he has only a close friend from the far north. "
The main culprit being that use of "180 degrees in one moment". The proper use of that idiom would be "whose life will take a complete 180 after a single moment." Though really the entire thing should probably be re-written, since you also kinda overdo it with the ordinaries.

"The story follows Welt, an ordinary shipbuilder just trying to care for his sick mother, whose life will take a complete 180 after a single moment."
If you want to keep the close friend part in the description, this might work too.
"The story follows a man whose life will take a complete 180 after a single moment.
Meet Welt. An ordinary ship builder caring for his sick mother, and with only a single close friend who hails from the far north."

Here's another alt version (frankly I don't know how important you consider the "far north" part.)

"The story follows Welt, an ordinary shipbuilder who cares for his sick mother and with only one close friend. His life is about to take a complete 180. "

Though at some point you'll probably want to get a fluent English speaker to go through the script and double check everything/offer some suggestions on more natural phrasing on whatever irregularities they spot.
It seems like the game is pretty content-heavy for a new release!

I only played a bit of the prologue so far, but for all of the English being done with just Google Translate it didn't seem too bad so far. bit confusing the game starts in russian, while the in the main menu everything is in english.

I'm sorry, this is some kind of anomaly. Every time I build a RenPy game. He does it in Russian, although I change it in English. No matter how much I tried to change it to English and archive it, it still switches to Russian. Sorry.

When I asked an experienced RenPy developer, he said the same thing. BUT he still didn't tell me how to fix it. =(

in chapter one, in the vip room of the brothel, when you talk with Evelyn, the language is russian again, no matter if you changed to english before.

good to see you got your dev role tho

also a bit confused about the gallery and why/how i missed stuff there....especially the very first one already^^ not like there were many choices....but not rly important for now, enjoying the game so far anyway
