I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the encryption was one of the things screwing up the game so badly that they eventually ditched it.Wow, I'm surprised how easy it is to see the CGs in the files... I remember in the demo it being a pain in the ass with the pictures folder being hidden somehow and taking some work to find it using the search bar n shit. Ain't even encrypted. Makes my life easier.
the unbelievers may now repent! long have the faithful waited, and our faith has been rewarded! the cope and seethe of this thread is thus rendered retroactively hilarious!all the whiners crying about milking patreons are fucking hilarious. they pretend as if this game has been the entire focus and people have been paying them for 5 years even though nothing has been made. ignore the smaller completed game that started it off, ignore that this game has not been the top priority for a while, and ignore that its because the top priority has been roundscape, a massive rpg that had many many fans and the developers shifted their focus to it once the popularity of that project skyrocketed, ignore that people are supporting their patreon for reasons other than this game, all so we can justify our whining and proclaim that the developer is milking the patreons WAH WAH WAH! the developer has been working for the last 5 years. not necessarily on this game, but on games in general, and people pledge money because of that. there is absolutely no milking here.
anyone new here, developers are good, dont listen to the crying, this game got delayed not to screw people over, but because their other project became very popular and expanded greatly in scope.
i agree with the guy who said the coping and seething will be hilarious. heres hoping for another delay so the rest of you nerds can wet your panties again.
i think the abandoned tag on this site is inherently flawed, the way it works is any game that doesnt get an update after i think 18 months gets the tag by default, but this game has pretty clearly shown how that approach is flawed, while most h-games may give regular public updates, some-such as this one- opt to go with the more mainstream triple a approach of releasing it all at once, and games can take years to develop, meaning any game that doesnt use the standard indie porn method of regular updates is doomed to be tagged as abandoned even if its still clearly being worked on, as this one was.broo i thought it has abandoned im very happy now
Its not flawed. Its necessary. This is just ONE example of someone doing the right thing. However for every good apple there are tons of bad apples. And that is why its there. More often than not when a dev goes 18 months without updates, its a shit scenario and the dev is being prick. Especially when we have an On Hold tag for when a dev does need to pause their work.i think the abandoned tag on this site is inherently flawed, the way it works is any game that doesnt get an update after i think 18 months gets the tag by default, but this game has pretty clearly shown how that approach is flawed, while most h-games may give regular public updates, some-such as this one- opt to go with the more mainstream triple a approach of releasing it all at once, and games can take years to develop, meaning any game that doesnt use the standard indie porn method of regular updates is doomed to be tagged as abandoned even if its still clearly being worked on, as this one was.
at the least i think the rule needs to be conditional, like "if the dev is still regularly posting patreon updates to the game's status then it doesnt get tagged" or something. Its not flawed. Perhaps other tags are needed, like Demo like this one was. But the abandon tag does more good than harm many times over to communicate to people when a game is truly not worth the investment.
