Stops at same point as 0.11. I had saved right before the end of 0.11, and it still ends there.

Tried a few different saves. Cannot get the actual new content started. I guess only other options are starting over or finding out why the new content is not triggering. I don't mind starting over as this has been a good VN.

It's a reason - not an "excuse" - for putting the game on hiatus until everything has been resolved - or even abandoning it entirely if necessary.

Despite the way the entitled types may whine that you "owe" them updates no matter what is happening around you in what we laughingly call the Real World your own life must take precedence over their petulant demands.​

Thank you for that, PeggyBlackett. Many seem to forget we are real people, and not faceless corporations. It infuriates me to read callus comments trivializing SylvieDreams very real pain.

I am having an issue with an exception at the first menu choice...

Seems I had to start over and then it would let me past that point without popping the exception. Lots of skipping.

"wasn't fair that you had to wait any longer for an update" ...well, actually, I'd rather wait another undetermined amount of months as long as the update has a decent amount of material. It's just a waste of data to download an update if it ends at the first choice, after on scene.
And personal life matters more than frequent updates.
Take your time, and take however long you need. It's better to wait 6 months for a big amount of game time than to get tiny updates every month or 2. And even if it takes a year, it's still more worth it.

I have no idea why you got that error. The name is defined directly above the line referenced in the traceback:
