You can find the reason why she retired on her TYSM post on her Patreon.
She said she won't be posting as Aromasensei anymore didn't mean she quit being an artist or won't appear to the general public again.

She retired from creating NSFW art but I don't know if she'll quit from creating SFW art or will make a comeback under a different name.

Indeed. Aroma Sensei's art is one of a kind. We'll never have that one of a kind art right now that she's retired from creating NSFW art.

Besides when one of her Patrons asked her about the story involving her OCs Jackie, Max, Elis & Subwoofer in an SFW format, Aroma Sensei answered she's not promising anything but she may or may not continue the story involving her OCs in the future because she's not in control.
