This is my first time playing an NTRMAN game immediately at launch, but this is quite disappointing coming off of something like Tenants of the Dead. The only issues I had with that game was the inability to have sex on-demand with Minjee without the RNG, and the lack of more organic encounters. It was otherwise, an amazing game. the VN format lends itself well to claustrophobia, with the limited space, limited options, limited resources and the hidden nature of your actions and results (theres no way to know how to get things like the axe or the bear spray without trial & error) all compounding to give you the sense of desperation that would MAKE YOU want to pimp out your girlfriend for safety.

Here, the gameplay mechanics don't add much. It's very obvious that this is NTRMAN's first real game, and he will need a long time to get good at designing a satisfying, tight game-loop. Even the damn controls are clunky. Very frustrating to play. BUT, I still think he should keep at it so his future games might benefit from both the artistic excellence of his previous VN work and the possibilities of interactive sex.

On a final note, I have to agree with what a person here said earlier, he needs to pay a writer instead of a voice actor. This story had a huge potential, even in the Vanillla route and was completely wasted. John or Claire should have been more racist, or actually desperate for the cure or had any sort of tension with these strange, entitled fuckheads who will leave humanity to die. The Vanilla route would have been a lot more satisfying had it been the culmination of a civilized man coming and showing the tribals that even at their game, he is better than them. Skip to Heart of Darkness style ending where he rules them or something.

For someone that supposedly played the game seems like you didn't bother to look to the end credits. Quite a few writers worked on this, the glaring point here is that AOTG has the same write as The Lust Voyage his worst game to date. From what people mentioned in discord NTRMAN doesn't leave to much choice for creativity on the writing part

Idk if somebody already posted this but this game also has a cheat for opening the gallery, try to click multiple times on everything in the right window (seagulls, headset required sticker, island, do not lean on glass sign) after that you will get a "thank you" notification and all the costumes and scenes will be opened.

I've only played Tenant of the Dead, I didn't know he'd made other games, I discovered Arrival of the Goddess and The Lust Voyage even though the NTR tag isn't really my cup of tea.... I haven't seen anyone complain about the writing of Tenant of the Dead, what's so bad about this game ?

Game sacrificed on narrative to focus on gameplay it ended up with not that good gameplay and worse narrative. so far I have played trying to beat the challenges but they have been too dificult. the character changes from a shy woman to hating you and enjoying the NTR in the span of 3 days. your character witnesses 6 sex scenes with full presence without saying anything.
there has not been much point to roaming since after you finish your quests you just have to go to sleep. those are the things I have witnessed.

imo AOTG is WAY better than TOTD for one it doesnt have that far away style that took all the thrill out of the game also the art is amazing and the village girls r hot so i dont see why scenes with them would make the game bad,i liked the variety

I was quoting someone who themselves was referencing an NTRMAN announcement that this game was already completely ready and he was just waiting on the VAs... Which turned out to be hilariously false

Its being compared to Awakening of the Goddess, comic by the same artist a few years ago
biggest difference is that in the comic the husband stayed home and can only see whats happening through webcall, there was an air of mystery too it and how the husband is completely unaware until the very end.
In the game however, the husband is with the wife and its essentially a ch hunter game. You play mini-games and if you fail, the wife gets fucked. So there's no rape (technically), mystery, or any sneaking around. The husband (or the player) willfully allows Claire to get fucked and its implied that the husband is standing outside watching it happen and yet has no dialogue regarding the sex at all
That said its not completely terrible once you let go of the hype and expectations the original comic would have brought you. Art is still amazing, the VA cast did great work, its probably one of the better CG hunter games I've played (it has nothing on Ayako's Scramble tho, NOTHING), all it needs is to better reflect the way the content is delivered. Only thing holding it back is NTRMAN's own writing style

You can cheat by pausing and right-clicking to built speed.
