Hilarious.....I just cant keep up with the constant updates
Who's cutting onions?Play Leap of Faith and you'll be even more depressed.
Which is perfectly fine.In my opinion, this is the only developer who does not provide any figures for rendering or the number of animations, and it is not clear at all how much is left until the release or at what stage of development the game is.

Specially not here, they have their own channels of communication I guess, plenty of times are members that bring that info from devs discord channel or patreon or any other platform and post it here, a few devs do it too but it is less common. There are lots of developers who don't post that information.
I know of several that don't post numbers on Patreon either. Some are quite big and others are smaller devs. Others post progress numbers but don't give a scope or scale of what the final counts are expected to be so without context the numbers are not entirely helpful unless someone wants to count up prior releases and compare. That's not entirely relevant as a particular update may be significantly larger or smaller than prior ones in terms of rendered assets and lines of code/dialog.Specially not here, they have their own channels of communication I guess, plenty of times are members that bring that info from devs discord channel or patreon or any other platform and post it here, a few devs do it too but it is less common.
All I've ever found is that posting numbers are largely irrelevant. Just like you said, if using the numbers to compare against prior chapters in the same VN, it doesn't mean much because the type and structure of content in one chapter might differ from another. And if using the the numbers to compare against other VNs well... that's completely useless because every dev is different in terms of technique, style, and personal lives. It's a terrible metric for comparison.I know of several that don't post numbers on Patreon either. Who cares since he gives weekly updates and previews. I can think of another dev that does the render updates and it's been 2 years and still no sign of all those promised renders in the updates. You can't rush quality and you just know with DigiB when it drops its going to be goodIn my opinion, this is the only developer who does not provide any figures for rendering or the number of animations, and it is not clear at all how much is left until the release or at what stage of development the game is.
I feel like I might know who you refer to. But I seem to have dropped my brain so I can't remember....lol Also I agree completely. digi.b has never let me down. Not once. Always top tier.Who cares since he gives weekly updates and previews. This is not a criticism, but simply an observation that it is not clear at what stage the episode isWho cares since he gives weekly updates and previews.
