'Evening, all!
Checking to report development continues. I'm continuing taking your feedback regarding Artemis' discernment protocol system.
Additionally, I wanted to remind everyone that Artemis' "cooing" sounds were recorded earlier this year and will be implemented in this update. This sound will have its own channel, so you can mute it if you don't want to hear it. To describe it, it's a soft muttering sound and I'll save it for the release to reveal the sound as I've seen many of you try to decipher what it sounds like lol.
Last year, I did Christmas renders of the ladies of Artemis. This year I won't do any as December will be crunch month for me trying to get the release out. Same goes for Thanksgiving. I may do one for Halloween, but it will be unlikely. I love doing the holiday renders, but usually only when time permits, and this year has been a roller-coaster for me. But am doing my best to close out this year with CH6's release and start a clean slate for 2025 with my update schedule.
That'll wrap things up for this devlog.

Surely I'm not the only one hoping that he slips in another surprise bark instead of a cooing noise. Artemis barking made me laugh my ass off.

sooooo....I don't know if this is a very stupid question...on steam the game is listed as Artemis book one...does this mean that the finished version is on steam? I'm confused why on here it says V0.5.1 but on steam it says Artemis book one? any help would be great thanks

stupid question guys, do you know if when the new update will roll out, it will have also continue the "rework" of the first chapters? I will most surely replay the game from the start, and it would be cool if the first chapters matched the quality of the newest chapters

book one consist of the first four chapters. 0.5 is the first chapter of book two and is not on steam.

Just finished my first playthrough of this, no idea how it slipped under my radar for this long, it's really solid, some of the early game character models aside. Only really advanced with June, Katy, and Reina on my first run since I didn't want to completely fuck around, and I'll probably drop June to do a throuple route with her and the gremlin later. Shame that Cassandra doesn't seem like she's going to get a route (if the bios in the phone are any indication), she's a great villain with just enough established motivation and small moments of sympathy that could set up something more later.
I love that the game is so focused on the story, but it definitely makes me more wary of things I'd be fine with in more porn > plot titles because of that investment. Like there's a lot of attention drawn in the latest update to how childlike Artemis is, and how the MC and Kindra are basically her parents, so I don't think I'll ever be comfortable pursuing a route with her and was mildly uncomfrotable at all the nude scenes she's already had, but in a more nukige style VN I'd love the idea of an LI being your surrogate daughterbot.
