VN Ren'Py Artemis [v0.6.1b] [digi.B]

During the development of the update, I sold my old apartment. Moved into a new one. Quit one job and got another. I'm glad that digi. B is back in action.

download the the whole 17g avn to start playing from scratch and chapter 2 kinda giving me problems , i've been ignoring and continue but now i'm curious about what's causing those exceptions?

Dumb question no doubt, but is the patch installed by just unpacking over an existing installation?

For anyone who hasn't already figured it out... if you used Scrappy's Multi-Mod your saves are gonna be fucked until he updates it. Also I know "NO BAD WORDS!"

Then explain to me how most my saves work even though most of them rollbacks a bit, but I guess that even happens with unmodded saves. None of them gave me any errors so far. I guess that scrappy mod not actually overwriting any game file helps in that regard (for what I can remember, not really sure on that, was long ago I played first time v0.5.1). People that have problems with scrappy modded saves or are using them irresponsibly, modifying files etc or they save few and always on the same save slot and then they don't have options if they can't find a point to rollback.

Also getting errors from ch2 onward. Might just be me, but I also couldn't interact with DK's first SD card.

Well, it might be the case for most of his mods in another games, but it depends how it is implemented, if affects persistent file or not. In a few words, there are quite a few factors that can make it or break it.

Now about the game, as i reply the game from 0 as well, when I get the SD card from DK bag, it doesn't disappear but i get the message it was decrypted. Weird bug but oh well.

Oh well, seems i am not the only one that have issues with DK SD card.

Here is the error Antaraxes mentioned at the start of Ch2, with same full download of the game, no mods or previous saves either, except URM but with it or without is the same.
Now what I might try is to add the update on top of full files and see if that, by miracle does something, tho i doubt it will.

yes this and BaDIK both are not harem games.
so you need to replay with different paths for all content.

Even with the mod imo is way better to play different playthroughs but for each their own, mods just help organize them better and that way I lose lot of a less time doing it. In Artemis case I have currently 2 paths but can fork more later and they are SO DJ Kink or INK girls. In the other game that was mentioned I have 5 different paths no way I'll play that with a "harem mod", just use the the regular mod and URM.

Yeah but using the scrappy mod is a big time saver! Hopefully it will be out in a few days.
I had to remove it cause I knew it would FK the game up after I patched CHAPTER 6 to the
game. "MOD has been updated!

Depends on the way games do it for me, if they do it too soon and poorly planned and annoys players that would prefer to know that choice was totally binding a path then yes I don't like it, major choices should always signalized in a different way that minor ones and good games do that.

But if is well done then you build up and chose later after more than half the game and then you fork saves for the girls you want to play the content. Like I said depends on the way it is done. There is also LIs forks and Story/plot forks, I'm a completionist so usually like to see almost all content.

Unfortunately, as much as I love a well told harem story, I do not see it here, MAYBE a mini-harem like Bare Witness. If the dev does a good job and doesn't diverge the paths too early, it could still be interesting, I normally stay away from AVNs that force LI exclusive paths on you fairly early, only because I don't want to read the same thing over multiple times to only have small moments of dialogue to change, or have numerous saves. My Real Desire and City of Broken Dreamers are only two of a couple AVNs that I think did this correctly, allowing you to enjoy multiple LIs with little to no consequence until a final decisive point which was normally towards the end of the story.

Artemis I could speculate a few dozen outcomes;

Yes agree, but I was mentioning and giving my 2 cents on the use of "harem mods" those mods that you can see all the content in 1 playthrough and like I said before each one plays the way they want, there is only a game I use those and its a game with less quality than Artemis or the other game that was mentioned .

Applying patch over full game did nothing as expected, now i am trying to find a 0.5.1 release and apply the patch over it.
