VN Ren'Py Artemis [v0.6.1b] [digi.B]

Got a ton of error messages, everytime a hidden "SDCard" is around.
First one was "Kinras SDCard 3" in " Memory of Koko (10 years ago)" and now every following.
tried it first with the compressed and than dl the full.. no difference.
Fresh game, no saves no mods.
Anyone have a solution?

Oh wow! Yeah that's FK UP man. And you never had mods installed.....don't know what
to tell ya. And it's basically a new full game start...... Maybe someone else here can help.

Yeah, after all the issues I've had with mods breaking things I just don't bother with them anymore. Not worth the headaches that can happen.

I'm a sub on his site and there is a patch he's working on.
If you can't find a solution maybe that will help. Not sure
when it will drop......

That's what I had thought might be the problem that I borked something. I deleted the patched 0.5.1 directory completely and downloaded '0.6 Full'. I put it in a shiny brand new empty directory. I still get the exact same error, which is even more confusing.

Oddly enough, I added URM and no issues accessing the "Gamesaves" section. The really odd thing is that exactly 70% (7) of my total saves (10) failed to load due to an error while the others loaded perfectly fine. They were all made during the exact same 5-6 day window, the only difference is the 3 that load were mid-game, and all the ones that are failing were saved right at the end of the 0.5.1 content.

That is the error I got in the last save in the last render of chapter 5, simply it seems there was lot of changes (renders, dialogue and probably code) in chapter 5 and some saves can't find a place to rollback. Because I use mods and the game is still in development I save in every choice in a different slot so I went back to the last save with a choice and it worked, found a place to rollback and it rollbacked a bit.
This is the last choice of chapter 5 (I guess on any path?!?), a save made there should always work even though it goes a bit back on the story.


So yeah if you don't save often in different slots it is always a gamble in not completed games hehe.

About the patch, I dunno I did what I do every time, I extracted all in a folder and cut it and paste all the content in the place where the executable is in the game installation. Only thing I had to do was to remove the scrappy mod code folder inside the game folder because was giving parsing errors when running the game. So far no errors during my first playthrough save, even though I didn't play that much yet.

Yeah I can't get any save that was basically the last save in chapter 5 {after Artemis says Fuck}
to work. Any save before that works fine and then the game continues on to chapter 6 with no problem.. As I said in another post there is a patch he's working on.
Hopefully it will drop in another day or so.

Is there NEW story? I just finished the story last month and don't want a DL that is just fixes of bugs and such.

From what i read Dev already released a fix, judging from discord and myself included have the same issue, full game download, no saves no nothing, update from previous to this as well, to no avail.

Unfortunately I was too clever for my own good. All my good saves were made just near the end of the press conference. And in my ultimate wisdom, that seemed like a good time to clean up all my saves. And since URM makes it so easy to do save management I went a bit overboard and kept the most recent one for the LIs I'm following, and a loner solo path. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait as it's a long way to do a full restart.

I don't mind it so much. I have seen far worse looking models for MCs XD

It's a nightmare fuel of mine, he feels like a Team America or Thunderbolts puppet but "realistic" version. But don't mind me , it never stopped me from playing a game lol

To be fair i completely get that. his model is a side character in another game and it throws me off so hard XD

Ah i did not read that and as far I knew, it was done already, well judging by discord. Thank you for correcting me.
To my defense now, is 3:35 AM and i am watching grandma on another "loonie toons" nights.
