Any idea of a fix for this?

There was a link for the patch update from v0.5.1 to 0.6 but it seems that those links from the poster expired, think it was linked in the OP before they updated it to 0.6.1b since it was what I used. For the current version nope, all or nothing, had to download the full game download size.

The good news for later is that digi.B will split book1 and 2 when release chapter 7, or it seems so from what I saw and remember from a dev log posted somewhere in the last 1000 posts :LOL:.

Updated my compressed Android port of _ARTEMIS with Scrappy's walkthrough mod to v0.6.1b.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Due to the size of this game, I've split it out so there are additional steps to install.

Install instructions:
  1. Download zip file
  2. Use an app like RAR to unzip the file. Standard browsers have issues with large zip files
  3. Install the apk file from the zip file
  4. Run the game once to load into the menu and then close the game. This will allow the port to set up the required folder in your Documents folder
  5. Move the archive.rpa file from the zip file to Documents/Eonor/e.artemis/game
  6. Restart the game
If you do not read the instructions and ask for help because the install doesn't work, you will be laughed at and told to read the instructions.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

So the gamer played fine for a while but at a certain point I seem to have lost the ability to access the game menu

I cant access the game menu, cant save or load, no quick save.... nothing.

Went back to the 1 saver earlier and everything started working again... is this a known renpy bug or a bug with this specific game?

Hey, i wasn't able to use old saves so i decided to redo everything. No problem the game is a blast, but... first free roam in Kindra apt, and it was bugged... can't click on the phone Lidar, can't clic on the fridge, can't go on bed side to see the window and end the free roam, so i'm blocked... any suggestion ??......

Hmmm you are using the latest version v0.6.1b right? Well I just tested a save a little before that freeroam and all works fine, but you aren't the first person to say it is bugged so I'm gonna do a test and get back to you. Just moving all my saves folder and the backup in appdata also to another location, maybe my persistent file is saying it works fine because I already done it so must test it like it is my first ever playthrough. Time to skip unseen text and hopefully get there fast hehe. Be right back at you.

Edit : I dunno what to tell you, on a totally fresh playthrough I did all the freeroam items including the 2 sd cards and exit it from the window in the bedroom, all the locations on the map work well for me including the phone.

Just FYI yes I use URM and the multimod from scrappy with the latest v0.6.1b game version. Time to delete the new save(s) folder and its content created in game install and appdata renpy folder backup and put back the "old" ones hehe.

Thank you for your tests... i don't know what to say more.
After retrying again and again, same shit... just the shower, laptop table and music table are clicable.
and yes i use the last version, with scrappy mode too.
i will check this out. thx.

I know there was someone else with that problem a couple of days ago or so, go back in the thread and look if they found a solution (or try if searching for it helps you)

When you decided to start a fresh playthrough did you kept the persistent file that was there before even though not using the old saves? Dunno, if you did kept it try to do what I did in my test, move your current save folder in the game install and in the System drive usually C:/Users/(your user name)/appdata/roaming/Renpy folder then move the artemis folder there also to a safe place (if don't work you can always put them back). What will do is create a new save folder with a "fresh" default persistent file, of course you lose the text seen the settings and gallery entries etc etc but maybe something in your old persistent file is causing the bug.

Game won't play, just keeps crashing. It played fine the first time I played it, but now none of my saves work and when I try to start over, it just crashes during the first scene.
