Because I think most of them are well done in this game. I'll admit that it gets a bit much when the number is huge. But that's just me. I wouldn't then take my inability to get onboard with it. To make the blanket statement of it wouldn't work. That's the only thing I was commenting on.

Man you can't divide yourself meaning you cannot be here for for every girl you have at the same time. If girl A need you at 10am and girl B too, one would be pissed because you aren't here. Sometime you have these dilema and you will be forced to choose. I bet i will happen until one point if you have these relationship IRL, the more woman you are in relationship, the more your time is divided between them. I'm talking about romance of course, not domination/slavery where the girl opinion doesn't matter.
In fiction like artemis, i would agree with your statement "If the characters are done right" but it's highly subjective and like i said i've yet to find one good exemple of that. (or should i say, a good exemple who work for me, it's subjective of course )

Don't worry i love my family but not this uncle (he die last year anyways). For the short story, the 4 years old of me was in summer vacation in his house and he threaten me with a martinet multiple time.
On this "Men are highly territorial and on a primal level want their woman to be 'theirs'", as someone who have read Sartre, i gotta say that his view on love ar partially like that but for the two sex. In short, for him it's a struggle between freedom and possession. Romantic love is a form of desire that seek the possession of the loved one. You want the other to do what you want, to find validation through the other person. But at the same time, the other want that too. So it's a never-ending conflict between the two lover about mutual possession, who lead the relationship, where are the gray area of freedom in the relation.

Because they didn't count the tiny animations that most games puts in that count and Artemis has a lot of that, specially Artemis being curious and goofy in the background haha, its 12 big animations/cinematics sequences I guess, still didn't reach any sex scene but already saw 2 cinematics driving the car and a lot of tiny animations or sequence of renders making the game more "alive".

....what? You can't divide yourself period. A harem is completely irrelevant to that fact. Replace "girl A" with mom, dad, work, a prior engagement, etc. Someone's getting disappointed, mad, sad, etc. That is a moot point to a harem. You will have to choose in life. But overall, what are you talking about? We talking about harem games my guy. You know? The original topic of conversation? Any time conflictions are dev created. More time can be created. And I have no idea why you're trying to steer into IRL. Or why you're talking about "domination/slavery where the girl opinion doesn't matter." Bro you going way off-road.

Cool, done, boom. That was the entire point from the jump. Your original comment of stating that romance doesn't work in harem games. That is all I disagreed with. If it don't work for you, at least not yet. That's fine.
