just "finished" Artemis so far. There are few AVNs out there with a really good story but man, Artemis is awesome. Amazing humour, great story telling, great renders that become better with the story's progress, great development and Artemis as an AI is so convincing, I just love it.! The "no bad words" part got me :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

June's reaction in the end... LMAO, can't wait for the next update

Yeah, but still sad that there is no New Contend after all this Time for now. (Thats actually why i deleted my todays Upload from the new version here) And the Steam Archievements are Broken. :ROFLMAO:
But when he looked at the Code, he found nothing wrong and was writing bout help from Steam whats wrong there, if it is a Steam prob or a small mistake in the Code from the VN.

Hey everyone!
0.6.2 patch is ready and the links have been updated. MEGA is still uploading as usual, GoFile has been added as an option. WeTransfer is also still uploading.
Various small fixes
"cooing sounds" for Artemis in CH5
Added new audio sliders and a customization section for the dialogue box
Updated renders for the market place scene in CH6
Corrected the issues with the textures in the animations for CH6.
Sorry the cooing audio took so long, but now you can finally hear her. For those who would rather not, you can check out her audio slider in the config menu and slide it to 0.

Now in regard to CH7;
Thanks for the feedback on Artemis' discernment protocol feature. I also got a chance to talk to my friend about it. He's worked on actual AAA games, so it was nice to talk shop. Game mechanics was what we went back and forth on. So, putting the icons back into the choices is best. I get the frustration of making a choice, pulling out your phone and see which protocol it increased. If you want go back or do a specific playthrough, the icons can guide you instead of the guessing game. Basically, I've created the playground, you guys should be able to play how you want in it. So that's my bad for removing the icons in the first place.
They'll return in chapter 7 and chapters 5 & 6 will have them restored. I appreciate the feedback you guys give, the good and bad. It helps me give thought when I'm trying to figure things out like this mechanic. You guys seemed to be satisfied with the choices when interacting with Artemis this time around in Chapter 6, compared to the ones that came off mean in Chapter 5. And that's thanks to you guys, so I may not get to respond to everyone all the time. But I do take your feedback into consideration.

What the hell is this dialogue box and font? The last ones were so much better. The alingment and absurdly big box for such a tiny text is a ridiculous mix.

That's the weird thing, I liked that dialogue box and text from the version I downloaded here (the one you mentioned), and I bought the Season 2 DLC on Steam as well because I love the game. However, I got that awful font and box from the screenshot I shared, and the version is different (v.0.6.2a). It struck me as odd that a supposed updated version had a much worse font and box, and was curious to know if anyone else had encountered it as well, or if it's something that digi.B will implement in the future for everyone.

Digi talked about it in one of his Dev Logs. He wanted to make the game more accessible for people so you can now change the textbox in the option by changing the width, opacity and font size. I think the background was, that he himself has a vision impairment and thought it would be a nice addition.
This was added in the latest release 0.6.2 like you mentioned. I personally have the font size at 27 and it looks clean. I like the new look.

That's odd, I thought that I'd be able to change it like you mentioned, but I have no such option in my game (I only have the opacity slider.) I assumed that it could be related to his vision impairment, making it in turn more accessible, but as of now he has made it harder for me lol

Thats strange for you to not have the new options in the UI tab. Did you accidentally install the new version over the old version or something ? I would recommend to delete your current 0.6.2 and reload it.

Yeah, like I said, that was extremely weird, and no I installed the version from scratch. I'll try to do everything again tomorrow and delete any remaining files to see if the issue is solved.

I've deleted the game, made sure that there wasn't any trace of it in the steamapps folder, and also restarted Steam. After installing it again, the main menu changed (Artemis got a new animation) and the UI settings were finally fixed as well. It seems that for some reason it didn't update properly yesterday when I first installed the Book Two DLC, and so I had a mix of 0.6.1b and 0.6.2a.

You are probably using a mod.
I had the same problem (with the weird font) and had to uninstall the mod (until an updated mod is produced).
That fixed the problem in my situation.

EDIT:
Actually, I went in and deleted the whole folder with the entire game in it, and "Verified" the game files (Steam), so it completely reinstalled (Book 2).
Should be the same on Windows (I am on Linux).

EDIT 2:
I found the folder in the mod that messes up the text GUI...
It is the folder "_mainrenpy", in game/code (game/code/_mainrenpy).
I deleted that, and the scrappy mod is working (with the good text gui) again.
(I still get an error here and there, but I can ignore them and move on.)

I noticed something that I haven't seen/noticed before (new?? Steam Bought Book 2)..
On the phone, there is a new option at the bottom called, "Artemis". When you click on it, it opens up a window with 2 different 'protocols' (Called Discernment Protocols)..

I have "0" on the one on the left and "4" on the right..

(I believe I am in Chapter 5, again.. I had to start from scratch again since the older version saves, with a mod, weren't compatible with the new Steam purchased one.)

Can anyone explain what these are?
I am guessing they are for your responses to Artemis..


EDIT:
OK, I think I have it figured out..
The one on the left is from the strict responses to Artemis
The one on the right is from the soft responses to Artemis
