Some people don't like waiting to play after an update until the mod catches up, and MrBuBu does a great PDF that is actually more clear/thorough than the multi-mod walkthrough. You have to wait for that, too, but you can play without it.

it's gonna be awhile till that gets done.

The last update took over a year to make and we only got it a few weeks ago, so you're going to be waiting a while.

Um i get far more than 10 MB from gofile, its the one i always use. I was able to dl the full update in a couple of minutes

Hey, everyone! The render box is finally up and running. Just in time too as the weather is already well into the 90s in my area. I had to do some minor adjustments on the loop order, but the quick-disconnects really shined and made it a breeze to do. Making regular maintenance less of a chore. I found my external drive that had my sound effects library which added about 3TB to my asset database. I had to increase the number of drives in the pool to fit the extra terabitties in my drive pool, because since I configured them in the JBOD with TrueNAS as RAIDZ2. It means it required more drives to maintain the resilience of my data that I structured. But there's a ton of sound effects this library has, so worth keeping on the NAS. For those who remember my post on World Backup Day... just a friendly reminder that Raid is not a backup. Be sure to add something like Backblaze for off-site backups. On Chapter 7 front, things are going smoothly. When I'm taking a break from writing or hit the occasional writer's block, I'm working on locations featured in this chapter. Some locations are going to be custom assets imported in. I'm also experimenting with some code. Chapter 1 featured some cool things with the music player and I hope to bring those features back with Chapter 7's release. That includes restoring DJ Kink Studio in the main menu. That'll wrap it up for last week! I had hoped to have the artwork featured in this devlog done by CH6's release. But I forgot to follow up with the artist, with how crazy everything was leading up to that. But something fun I wanted to do and share with everyone. You can find the 3600x2700 file in the attachments of this post. ​

You cant, if i recall tho if its a scrolling text (one that appears slowly as if its being typed) then you can just click and itll skip that whole "typing" part, showing the full sentence. If you are talking auto then i also think there is no option to speed that up

i downloaded the split parts since the full one keeps crashing due to my weak ass wifi but i can't extract since winrar is saying part 4 is corrupted so was wondering if thats just me or not or if anybody can help is the discord is down

I just tried the gofile pc version with 7zip and i had no issues so maybe just a corrupted dl or the link you used (if it wasnt gofile) is corrupted.

So I had issues with that, realized the text was just appearing without "typing" itself which literally prevented me from enjoying the game as I NEED it to be typed (is that an autistic trait or something idk). What I did is overwrite the cps preferences by creating a rpy file in the "game" folder with literally 2 lines in it:

However, it's on windows and a PC, I don't know if you're playing on linux or something else. You also probably needs to "display" the type of files in their names, so you can create an actual rpy file just by naming it "option_overwrite.rpy" or "make_that_damn_text_type_itself.rpy" or whatever you want to call it. It's something to search for in window settings if you don't have it activated.

Not sure it's a proper solution, but it worked for me.

For the record, "cps" means "character per second" so you give it the value you want as the number, basically. 60 is 60 character per second. 0 is for the text appearing without being typed (so instantaneously like I didn't like).

Sooo... yeah.
