Is the save you are trying to load from a modded game, is the game modded?

I only used URM but I don't think it changes any files, like a walkthrough mod would.

But I don't like how they are dealing with Reina and the sorority girls, they feel much more like side girls than back in season 1, I wish Kindra went with Reina much earlier, the best time would have been before her first media apparition after the blackout, that would have allowed Reina and the girls to feel more involved this season...

I think that is inevitable if you take account of the story development direction. When the main plot and the future development revolves mainly around Kindra and Artemis, it becomes harder and harder for the INK girls to squeeze in the screen time without breaking the flow of the storytelling (well... prolly except the big tiddy red hair chemist, the red hair latino CEO, and the albino vampire... well... the former 2 have already established a firm connection with the main plot, but there is a huge maybe for the last one...unless she was asked to become the in-house law consultant).

Having said that, it would be sad to see that day when the vampire became a sidekick of this AVN.

I understand that Artemis is always going to be the most important female character in terms of screen time, as she is crucial to the plot and, by extension, to Kindra and the revival of her company.

The thing is, In book 2 I feel like the dev lost a great opportunity to involve the rest of the cast more in the story. For instance, after the blackout, If we went with them, Reina and her team could have helped by suggesting Kindra deal with the mayor. Later, they could have shown someone like Paige preparing Kindra to handle the media. This would have given them more presence and involvement, instead of leaving them mostly in the background until the end.

It didn't make sense to me that the MC didn't try to convince Kindra to seek their help immediately. Even if Kindra held a grudge against Reina initially, the MC should have convinced her earlier that it was all a misunderstanding.

I just think he could have managed the supporting characters better in this second book. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about Zelda's presence. Everything seems to be pointing toward a legal confrontation with Cassie and both AIs, and we've been given hints that Zelda's parents are considered the best lawyers for AI-related cases. I think she will definitely get involved after the expo.

Have you factor in the highly likely next step in the plot in which Artemis joins the INK girls in order to learn more about human interactions? I bet that would feature the INK girls heavily.

Well both chapters in book 2 were focused on Artemis since she woke up/got online and its normal, chapter 6 already have some screen time for the Ink girls, less for Zelda because she isn't physically present so it mainly a couple of phone calls. Next chapter if not mistaken Artemis will go to college/university and I'm guessing interacting with all the MC circle of friends from the Ink sorority so more screen time for them, maybe less for Reina or even Veronica and DK though, or perhaps not, who knows what Digi.b have to show us.

Everyone who are worried about not enough time with the INK
girls can relax. The last 2 Chapters will be filled with them.
You all can check on this with the Dev logs posted here but
in short that's what these last 2 chapters are focus on...


The reason being is that at the end of chapter 8
you need to pick you're LI....{Artemis as an LI is different and he will explain that later}
You also don't have to pick anyone and can go the route of FWB.{Only certain Girls
but you could probably guess a few already lol!}

I tried to say fuck it and fly through a fresh playthrough, but when you get to Kindra's apartment and go to look around, the only things I can click on are her laptop and turntable. Can't continue beyond that.

It's definitely not mandatory. I had no issues loading previous 0.6.1 saves with 0.6.2.

As it should be. 0.6.2b is a bugfix release. The only truly "new" thing is audio of Artemis' coo'ing.

But the save files from 0.6.1b loads just fine. That's my point and what I was trying to answer.

Strange cause he's usual fast and if he wasn't gonna make any changes
to the mod he won't of taken down the links....

Edit: Well, the old saves still didn't load. My recent save from the start again is ok and I can advance in her home. Eh.
Edit edit: Got to another spot I can't advance past. Don't know what they did, but Artemis is now a buggy mess. Feh.

Do you mean the first time we go to her place? There's the 'end freeroam' button next to the phone.

Yeah, it wasn't there before with 6.1. Now with 6.2 I'm at the spot where they had that bj competition and he's in his room. Can't free roam the rest of the house.

Fucking Christ, I decided to start an entire new playthrough instead of loading a save and it seems to be working again. I'd tear my hair out if I had any. I'm gonna stop posting and asking questions now.

Well maybe some bug fixing but was to add the "cooing" sound effect to Artemis, fix some renders/scene made with Blender in chapter 6 mostly.

Wasn't to add new content, just adding quality of what was already there. You can see by the version number, previous was 6.1 and the 6 means chapter 6 and 6.2 is still chapter 6, but that couldn't mean anything since some developers add chapters/episodes in parts, what isn't the case of Digi.b/Artemis so far IIRC.

I was getting a batch in to render and notice the render times were unusual the next morning. 3 hours wasn't normal, but the graphs didn't seem unusual temps wise. But after another looksie, I noticed the second gpu wasn't firing up. Anyway, my fumbling of setting up my GPUs for ComfyUI (which is a pretty standard install, I was just trying to set it up in WSL which did more harm than good.) Whatever I did, it was making DAZ only render on one of the GPU's. I didn't feel like troubleshooting, so I just re-imaged the PC and things were back online after some minor adjustments. So, what was I doing now to this poor server and why am I using ComfyUI? When it comes to posters, advertisements, just random images for background stuff that I want or need to swap out while avoiding copyright claims, I just use AI generated images for stuff like that. Veronica's apartment for example. I didn't want random art, so instead of scouring stock images for something like this to slap in as a photo. I generated and placed a photo prop I felt was better than a blank wall or a framed photo of a flower for this scene back in CH5. And if it wasn't already obvious, the art pieces in the gallery of CH6 were generated. That'd be some weird irony if they weren't, lol. But anyways, that's why I was working on getting something setup locally. It is a tool I've started to use since CH5 to replace posters or adverts. Even the Big Juicy Weenie hot dog on the carton (CH6) was generated. It's a very good tool to have and makes coming up with shirts designs, logos, posters, etc. easier without having to search the internet or wonder about what license to use. So if you're a developer reading this. It's a controversial subject for sure, but so long as you treat it like a tool and not just flat out abusing it to do work for you. It's fine, in my opinion. Anyway, we gucci now. GPUs were fixed already, render times are back to normal and Comfy is up and running. Got some props to texture tomorrow. Have yourselves a great week everyone!
