The thing about modules is they do by default work in a global sense as the event is called generically. If the target is set to be a general {person about to talk} and {person they're about to talk to}, and you make no use of {This Card} to specify the card the target is installed on, it works "globally". I've seen some modules do this to make all character's stats degrade by a set amount each week or restore virginity on all female cards each week. I made a module to make forced sex depend on weights based on traits, mood, opinion, opinion, and orientation and once I finished I realized a simple swap from "This card" to "Target card" made the entire thing globally apply to everyone. References like This/Target/etc can be assigned to variables too so it's pretty dynamically capable.

Not that I'm saying I wouldn't like to install a personality mod globally since it's not only easier to apply to everyone immediately for any class save forever but it also takes my mind off making the functionality myself then always having to remember to equip the "global" or "general" module on a card who is guaranteed to always be part of the roster every time. The latter gets complicated with modules like "Preying Mantis" that causes a pseudo-death by kicking the card out of the class rather than conventionally murdering them. Hence, the possibility that the card carrying the functionality gets kicked out and thus function needs to be restored but the character's canonically dead and... bleh.

In short, I'd love for the overhaul to get ported over and I'd love it more if someone would pass me a guide on how to make global personality tweaks for AA2 so I can do that along with modules.
Here, the SR mod in ppx form. It's the [FINAL] version from the link in the previous page.

No guarantees on whether it works though as I haven't tested.

Sooooo.... what do you get when you put the tallest guy and the shortest chick in one room?

Now, on a more serious and... less law aggravating matter. In relation to this post of mine:
Lately ive been inquiring if theres a way to stop the PCs love count from going above 10. JustAl mentioned something about changing some code to get what i want. Im not capable of doing that, so instead ive went after the already existing modules.

Found the "unlovable" module, which is not what i was looking for, but looked promising - the PC was not supposed to gain love count at all - thats fine, as only the NPCs love count matters, so i gave it a go. Turned out - the module made me generate love count with my interactions, but the same interactions made the NPCs generate like points only. USELESS. The point was to have everybody run around with the "Like, but cant say it" status, allowing me to do whatever i pleased with them, while making them unable to ask to be lovers or ask out on dates. What happened instead, is that its ME who got friendzoned by every chick in class, because all theyve had in terms of LLDH towards me was likes. Describe your modules properly peeps. Yeah, it does what it says it claims it does, but the way its achieving it is retarded. Love, dislike and hate count are the only LLDH that matters (contrary to what the wiki states, as per usual). Having likes with someone exclusively effectively turns every chick into a pure homo.

Then ive checked another module. "Apathetic" - to quote its description "doesnt have strong feelings towards anyone". What does that even mean? Apparently, it means incoming interactions have reduced efficiency (basically a rip off of "bad with guys/girls" trait) but outgoing interactions increase the PCs love count as usual... *long sigh + shakes head*
Did a little test in regards to what can be done about the issue using nothing but blunt trauma.
Untitled1.png

Its just the first week, so im taking it easy with "rapid love expansion" but the effects can already be seen. Problem is.. ive had to turn sooooo very gay to get to this point, it makes me hate myself when i look in the mirror.

Anyways, im on the right track - the PCs love count is at 0. At all times. Problem is, while nobody dares to ask me to become lovers, it doesnt stop the girls from constantly asking me out on dates, or from groping the living bejeezus out of me. Theres also no issue with getting your dick wet with the opposite sex - its their love count that matters, not yours. I admit - i havent tried to get into a relationship with anyone (no interest, to be frank), but i assume it would... work. As dysfunctional as a relationship like that would be.

To sum up - removing love gain from the PC made the NPCs lose their ability to ask to be lovers. However, it looks like willingness of contact and asking on dates is hitched under the NPCs love count, not the PCs. No idea if i can do anything beyond this point. In fact, im certain i cant - looks like this would require a module to redirect all "ask on date" requests to something else, like a headpat or whatever.

EDIT: had to make a small alteration, because this place, in spite of showing the most degenerate things known to man, is not cool with naming things what they are...

EDIT2: okay, you can get into a relationship without problems... using a homo guy and a hetero chick. Life finds a way...

EDIT3: looks like having no love count does not prevent you from receiving lover requests. Just got asked by 3 girls out of the bunch to be lovers. Not even gays are safe from a horny chick, looks like - you can consider this post completely baseless and full of lies.

why not just use the futa overrides that the google docs has?
Say, does anyone know if there are mods to make a futa character that functions like a male one? I couldn't really find anything like that myself, and I did run into comments saying that it's impossible (or maybe I misunderstood them), but they were from 2018, so things might have changed.
Also, I hate to beg some more, but is there a pubic hair remover? All I found was different uncensors that add more hair...

well g/g can use a LOT of poses like the b/g counterpart so i dont see the point to alter some male body types just for 3 or 5 extra poses (also just my guess but most likelly would break with the new uncensor) while you can just change the strap via overrides with the futa pack

Characters with modded personalities are t-posing all over the map, is there a fix for that? Also, is there any scat mods?

Is there a way to modify the body height parameters using AAU without screw up the h scenes? I could also use an override or something that modifies body lengths. :HideThePain:

Well it does, but when I make my character bigger or smaller it fuck up any h scene. But there may be a way to make it work.
I'm gonna assume "no". This game is Illusion's home made gem relic. It's cool, unique, and unfortunately not very flexible due to lack of consideration for such variety.

Illusion figured out that kind of attention to height in Honey Select - and sequel, 2 - and the scene still comes out looking wrong if the character height differences are too extreme.

I'll just recommend you don't put much height difference in characters designed to have sex. There are some gimmicky non-sex characters around who are meant to portray weird tiny beings like fairies and imps, and extra-tall teachers meant to be tall enough to look like a genuine adult but who absolutely can't consent or seek sex.

You have 25 character slots so 1 or even 2 unsexable outliers won't feel so bad. Unless you built your character in such a way that it can't adequately socialize besides easy-to-please losers. At which point either roleplay the doomed life or roll a new player or some new NPCs to fill seats.

I assume because dealing with overrides has an obstacle of difficulty associated with it. From what I remember, Archive Overrides are used to replace bodies in cards by putting the body model into the card, while Archive Redirects saves the space but relies on the file to be present in your install. The earlier works so long as the card doesn't get corrupted, the latter saves space but requires the user to seek out the resources themselves.

The trouble is, the guide for Archive Redirects requires you to know what file name you're actually replacing. The Futa override guide mentions the female file names, in the spoiler below from the guide.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

However it's not known what the male equivalents are if you don't look for them. I haven't tried so I don't know where to look myself. If the information was easier to find in this thread it might cut down on question posts.

TL;DR: AAU spreadsheet links the futa guide, futa guide links the AAU spreadsheet, yet between both neither make it easy to know what the file names to replace for males or how to find out. Female files are explicitly mentioned so that's known. Male bodies pack both height and fat together per body so they're differently organized. There's a certain amount of time and attention required before the player says "maybe later" and doesn't finish later.

Can I ask how you download more sex positions?
Follow the Modern Install Guide. You'll find more sex animations in Japanese More Cum Positions (JMCP). It has more features than just cum positions, like 3D rooms added, futa or male-on-male support, camera and animation changes in dialogue, and sex moan fixes.

I have it in the data file already, but dont see any changes. That is why I wonder if there's a different mod

If my memory is right, JMCP uses !shadowsets. And if I remember correctly, folders named like !folder are active, and folders named like folder are not active. In short, make sure the bang / exclamation point is in front of the folder to turn on the files inside the shadowset folder to override game content.

You may have also forgot to install a necessary ppx file dependency. Make sure you're using the newest build of AA2 mentioned in the Modern Install Guide.

Although I didn't take the time to run the mod on a clean setup free of modules, I suspect the difference I felt was from this mod. More frequent chance of insult, more fights, and I think the murder was a bit more motivated - as in, rather than dally all day and rarely ever get close to the player beyond death threats, the murderous NPC talked to me a few times in quick succession and killed me.

I'll test this along with modules for anything unstable or jank but feels good for now.

Hey, thank you for helping me but I'm still very confused (this is the 1st game I ever download like this). How I turn on the !folder? by clicking them? (I tried). And I tried reading the instruction, it said to disable some stuff in there, so I just delete them? I dont want to accidentally delete existing files then fuck up the whole things

Woah, no reckless deletions please. Do recheck and slowly read the full Modern Install Guide.

I'm too busy now to drop my tasks and help out with more pinpointed advice, but in regards to shadowsets, to rename the folder to start with a "!" so it becomes "!foldername" is to enable it, and to remove the "!" to it becomes "foldername" is to disable it. Really, the most brainless way to install a JMCP option is to just choose only one of those folders and move it in and leave the rest in the archive, since they all start with "!". The !shadowset system is designed to let you have multiple options then swap between them between game boots by editing the folder name.

Note: make sure the files in the !shadowset folders are not the same exact named file at the end of the same exact named folder, otherwise that is a conflict.

In short:
!shadowsetA/subfolderA/fileA has no problems with !shadowsetB/subfolderA/fileB or !shadowsetB/subfolderB/fileA, but it does have a problem with !shadowsetB/subfolderA/fileA. So you can disable !shadowsetB by renaming its folder shadowsetB.

It's essentially a built-in mod manager that reads file names. Most early/simple mod managers manage installs by file name, while more mature ones track changes in a separate file in its own cache.

Well yea, I know how risky it is if I delete things without being sure about it. Oh and you know where is the 'set' file is at in AAUnlimited? I only found 1 in data file which is not the right one since it mostly has poses etc not H style etc. Same thing with !Shadowset file, I cant find it anywhere. But if I find it, I put the new JMCP in it?
Sorry for being dumb about these things, I understand if you can't instruct every little thing, but I'm fine waiting for help once you're free to help out.
