There's the Crush module which will max the love one card has towards another, but that won't necessarily last if the other character continues rejecting them. Offhand I'm not sure what else fits the bill.

Edit: Depending on what you're looking for there's: Entitled, LOVE OF YOUR LIFE, Final Solution, Forceful, Loving Bully, Sadist, Sex Crazed. LOVE OF YOUR LIFE and Final Solution will potentially result in the other character being murdered
I've been trying a lot of combinations but I can't seem to quite get the balance right. The one pursuing the other character always just loses interest and starts going around to everyone eventually, with fewer interactions with the 'target' I want them to have. I'll have to keep trying.

Edit: Would be nice to have a "Loyal" module for non-lover cards, as a one-sided love obsession kind of thing.

It's entirely possible you won't find exactly what you want in existing modules, and that's when you start learning how to make your own. There's also a lot of modules that aren't included in the "official" modules pack, but those I'm less familiar with

I don't think it would be too difficult to mash the ideas of the Crush and Loyal modules together. Instead of blocking the interactions towards anyone but their lover, you'd instead make it block the interactions towards anyone that isn't in the list of crushes. Probably a good beginner project.

Did you install directx_Jun2010_redist, vc_redist.x64, vc_redist.x86, and windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.9-win-x64 from the extra folder?

Alright I've figured out what's going on with the Killer module. There's a few problems with having the PC as the killer.

Normally the PC can't be forced to perform any interactions via trigger. You can usually get around this problem by first enabling Auto PC mode. For some reason though the game won't allow the PC to perform a murder interaction even in Auto PC mode, and instead the character will just perform the Nevermind interaction. The module instead tries to get around this issue by switching the PC before having the original PC do the murder.

This leads to another problem. The game ends if the PC is killed, so if the module were to make the victim the PC, the game would end right after the murder and you'd be kicked back out to the main menu. So instead the module tries to find a 3rd character that it can make the PC before orchestrating the murder that is neither the original PC, nor the victim. Unfortunately, if the module is unable to find a 3rd character to make the PC, then the rest of the module fails to work as intended, and the murder never happens.

TLDR: The module only functions properly if there's at least 3 characters in the class.

Can someone share the build with the mods installed? I tried to install it myself, but it doesn't work, there is no list of positions
There are only standard ones.

Im sure a lot of modules tend to twist the games arms this way to get the desired effect. Still, it does make sense - if theres two people left, why would you kill the other person?

How did you manage to install it? It doesn't open for me. I tried following the instructions in the thread, but it is not working
This is just a screenshot, I didn't achieve such success either
(Sorry, Google Translate doesn't translate well)

Well in my case I only wanted to for a contrived testing scenario for another module. I suppose in a normal game you wouldn't. The Killer module would make more sense in normal gameplay if either the game or the module had implemented a witness mechanic. As it stands, the Killer module is essentially a glorified card ejector.

Edit: I suppose you could pair it with the Thorough module to have a crude witness mechanic.

so first, go to the google doc with where/how to download and install stuff
go to the mediafire link in step 2 and download "JapaneseMCPv25"
extract the file somewhere (with winrar or 7zip) then put the contents of the folder (not the folder itself) into the data folder. it should look like this when done

Извлеките файл куда-нибудь (с помощью Winrar или 7Zip), затем поместите содержимое папки (не саму папку) в папку с данными. Когда это будет сделано, это должно выглядеть следующим образом

Followed the installation instructions, crashes at startup

Can you share the folder with the game already installed? Well, it doesn't work out to install correctly, there may be problems at the stage of translating the installation instructions, the damn Google translator and the damn installation.

0xE06D7363 is system error. Not a game error. Computer is bricked.
1) No functional C++ redist installed
2) corrupted files
3) ?????

You should probably start charging money for fixing peoples broken modules... just dont shake money off me for asking about the "Free Pass" module! I would not like it, and neither would the Flytraps!
Even if I thought that anyone would actually pay me for what I do, I don't agree with accepting money for modding. Modding to me is a hobby, not a job. I'll save my rant about Patreon and what it has done to game modding for another time.

And besides, with the exception of Free Pass which I was able to throw together quickly, I only work on stuff that interests me, or that I will personally be using. I just share the results of the work afterwards.

Ahh, funding sites... my favorite.

The first time ive seen paid mods was back when Skyrim was released (or around there). It was completely outlandish to me, that someone might gate a download of a mod, something an amateur most likely undertook, behind a paywall.

I used to do modding between 1995-2005 or so, and just like you - i did it for my own use. Something bothered me about the game - if i could read the code or edit some numbers - i would do so. Given the state of the internet back in those days, uploading mods anywhere would be rough, to say the least, but back in those days we used to do LAN parties (anybody knows/remembers how fun these were? bar dragging your whole PC over to your friends house - that sucked!) and those tiny mods of mine would (somehow) get into the circulation of the people ive played with, and those they have played with. Think: a virus, but one that doesnt fuck up your PC.

If anybody asked me if i wanted money for my (doubtful) work? I would call them crazy. I made those mods, because i could. Not because money was a factor. And, in the long run, i would expect the same "in return". Not bashing on anyone who actually charges for mods, but if they do... the mods would better be top class additions to the game. Triple A quality.

...and i went on rant about paid mods instead of you. Saves you the trouble, i guess. Heh.

I had seen paid mods before but not to the same extent that you see it now. Skyrim was probably the first major victim of the plague since Patreon arrived a couple years later and streamlined the process. Prior to that you might rarely see a paid mod in a forum somewhere where you had to pay the creator via Paypal or something to get full access to it. Setting aside the fact that mods are built on the work of the game developers and so paid mods are trying to profit off of their work, it would be even more egregious to charge for mods for a game like this considering most (all?) of us are playing pirated copies.

I've had these arguments before and it usually results in people coming out of the woodwork to defend the practice like I'm threatening their child. I think part of the problem is a lot of younger gamers don't even know a time when paid mods weren't really a thing, and so they've accepted it as perfectly normal.
